  • So much fun!
This is our second Klutz clay charms kit. We ordered a different theme a couple weeks ago and had so much fun we wanted to get this one. Has lots of great ideas. Very easy to follow directions to make super cute charms. The only negative was this clay crumbled into unusable bits. Seemed very dry. This was not something we experienced with the first kit. Most of the clay was usable though so able to overlook it. ... show more

  • Great gift
Purchased for my 10 year old daughter for a Christmas gift. She loved it along with her 8 year old sister. So far they have made about 6 charms with almost no help from me. The clay is brightly colored and looks nice even after baking. The glitter looks quite nice too, but my daughter was disappointed there wasn't more. The book is big and has great photos explaining how to make each charm. My only complaint is that all of the clay colors are wrapped up together and not separated by any little plastic dividers. So some of the colors are stuck onto the other colors. But now when my girls see the other kits from Klutz they tell me how much they loved this set! ... show more

  • Super Dry Clay
We have this book in another version and loved it. I got this one to add to my daughter's collection! The instructions are great and easy for her to follow, but we had to go buy more clay because the clay that came with the book was so dry and hard. I would return the purchase, but she wants to keep the book for ideas. ... show more

  • Absolutely awesome craft kit!!!
Can't say enough about this craft. The glitter charms and regular charms are great because the books they come with walk the kids through each and every design on the from cover of the book. My 7 and 11 year old impressed themselves with the charms they were able to make. They even give you a true to size image of each ball of clay to roll for each charm. Really it is a step by step, colorful fun book and the kit is complete with jewelry, clay, glitter in this kit, everything you need to make charms and use them to hang or put on jewelry. These have become the hit of every playdate with my 1st grader! It seems expensive but it is actually worth it 100% ... show more

  • Wish the glitter was in the clay, but otherwise great product.
I must not have read the fine print close enough. I thought the glitter was already in the clay. It's not. It's separate. That makes for more mess, but still a lot of fun. My twelve year old and her friends love making them.

  • Doh it, Glitter Charms!!
My 8 year old grand daughter and I did this, together. The eye-screws or circle looped wires were a bit challenging to poke into finished sculpted jewelry pieces without my grand daughter deformity her creation. So, younger children definitely will need help putting in the wire ring. We have seversl slick plastic place mats we use as a surface perfect for clay, playdoh, etc. Waxed paper or vynil table cloth woukd work, too. The back of a cookie sheet or flat cooking tray are best for heating znd shrinking. We had a blast and my grand girl was very proud of her self-created jewelry. ... show more

  • This clay is amazing it doesn't dry out
This clay is amazing it doesn't dry out. My daughter "a true artist at 7":) haha has a bad habit of leaving clay and play dough out and we end up tossing most of it out. But this product is amazing it doesn't dry out until you bake it. I was so bewildered by it I have conducted a mom experiment and left a piece on my counter to see how long it would take and it been 6 weeks and I can still mold it. Wow! Plus the color the didn't stain my light colored counter which I found out by happy accident. ... show more

  • Alright for the price
The idea of the kit was good and kids from ages 6 (with some help) to 12 were able to enjoy this together. However, I took away stars because it did not come with glitter. The glitter was completely missing in the box and the kids were very disappointed, but I didn't have time to exchange it because I had ordered it on time to work on it on a specific day. Also, instructions on how to bake or use the glaze were nowhere to be found. It just said caution don't bake over certain degrees or certain amount of time, but I had no idea what the recommended temperature and time was. I also did not know when to use to glaze - before or after the bake? ... show more
