I lost the trailer jack foot that came with my trailer and this replacement fit perfectly. I have lost track how many times that I have had to dig mud out of my trailer jack and the mess that it leaves when on the driveway. This "foot" attaches to the bottom and is pretty much a universal fit for any trailer that has a jack. The foot attaches to the bottom via the secure coupler pins that goes through the holes in the jack and foot and connects to the wire restraint on the other side. The nice advantage to these is that they retract up and down with little additional space so they really never need to be removed unless you are going to swap out for a wheel connection to move the trailer around. The width of the foot ensures that you never have to worry about mud or the trailer jack getting stuck in the ground. Overall this is a very high quality item for the price point and rate it 5/5 stars. ... show more

    • Works exactly as designed.
I am using this on my camper, which had a wheel on the jack. The problem with the wheel is that my camper is really too heavy for the wheel to really work unless the campsite was paved, and it hangs too low to transport the camper with the wheel in place, so it was one more thing to remove and replace everytime we went camping. This plate was the answer to those problems. Its lower profile allows me to raise it high enough to leave it in place with towing the camper, and the jack still has enough travel to level the camper. This plate is solidly made and more than strong enough to suport the camper hitch without sinking into the typical gravel parking area in the campsites we normally use. By the way, the hitch weight of my camper is between 300 and 350 lbs, depending on how I load it. The plate attaches to the jack with the same pin that held the wheel in place. Time will tell how rust-resistant it is and how it holds up to extended use, and I will edit this review if anything significant changes my thoughts on this item. ... show more

    • Replacement for stollen one.
Had our wood hauling trailer hooked up to truck and was parked for about an hours at a cafe and the jack plate and spare tire disappeared. Had to have another one and the store wanted $48 for one so I ordered this one which I got in a couple of days. This one is tougher than the store one. It works perfect. So I got a better product at a third the price. It's a jack plate so not much can be said, but it is a great product at a very nice price. ... show more

Adding a jack to one of my kayak trailers was a great idea; I just didn't need the wheel. Keeping my trailer on soft ground, even though it's very light, would still result in it sinking into the dirt. That's no longer an issue with this pad. Because my trailers are light, they can be picked up very easily and moved around. The pad prevents my jack from sinking into the dirt. It fit perfectly onto my jack with a safety pin, making for a simple swap. It took about a minute to complete. ... show more

I used this foot plate on my camp trailer as the original one was rusting out. It was easy to slip this unit on and secure it with the included pin. I like the added holes in the tube that will allow for water drainage- something that my old plate did not have. Overall, this footplate is well made and should last years. ... show more

My flatbed trailer jack has always required something to be set under it, which can be annoying finding something at times. After I got all the dirt out of the inside of the tube, it slipped right into this jack foot. The coating looks good, welds look good, size (footprint) is good. The sleeve doesn't have a drain hole and I think I'll drill my own since I thought it was odd there wasn't one. The price is reasonable but not the cheapest since I've seen others, from other retailers, for about $10. By the time you'd pay shipping, those others wouldn't be any real deal. ... show more

There is not too much to say other than it works. It seems to be a solid, high quality product that does what it supposed to do. I use it for my small travel trailer and I am happy with it.

    • Works good but cup holds water
This is heavy duty and works well. I did not use the pin as I don't want to remove mine and it's just something else to bounce around and make noise. I used the existing stainless bolt. I did deduct one star because there is no drain in the middle cup. I just drilled a small hole straight through the bottom. It's not a knock on this brand....none of them have them. I don't understand why they don't though...seems common sense since most fail when the welds rust our from the inside. ... show more
