    • Product is fine, but don’t follow the manufacturer’s instructions…
As one always should, I read the instructions before installing. The instructions call for using a 3/8 inch self tapping lag with a pilot hole drilled to 11/32”. Seems to make sense. However from my experience installing on a Coleman 17b travel trailer (2” square tube), these were both overkill. First, the 11/32nd hole drilled was a little too big and barely allowed the 3/8 lags to catch on the first one installed. I downsized to a 5/16 bit for the second. Much better bite and hold. And, I was still able to turn them by hand. And I wish I would’ve looked at first, but the factory installed stabilizers on the rear of the trailer appeared to only use a 1/4 inch bolt. Had I noticed that, I would’ve started with that. The bolts only hold it for travel anyway. You can always drill out a bigger hole. However, you cannot go smaller once a hole is drilled. I hope the first one holds. I may have the size up to a couple half-inch bolts on that one. ... show more

Great quality at a great price box Alison includes a level and drill bit adapter to raise and lower the jacks. They where easy to install with some self tapping bolts
