I have a cap on the back of my pick up with a bed set up for short (so far) 3 to 4 day overnight stays. It doesn't matter if you're in a Class A or a truck cap you still need your bed to be level for a comfortable night's sleep. After watching and reading several reviews on the device, I decided to order one as I camp alone and this will save a lot of time in and out of the truck checking a level in the truck bed while driving up and down ramps. All I can say is, this device is amazing! Easy to set up and use. After reading a few reviews vs using the device myself below are a few comments... 1. Setup couldn't be easier-a big plus that the manufacturer does not require you to create a silly account to use the app and device. Plus the app has no ads or pop ups. Super happy about that. 2. Concern over battery life-Since the unit goes into a deep, deep sleep mode after the app is closed, battery life should not be an issue. When the device detects connection to the app, it instantly awakens. Plus the battery percentage is displayed at the top of the screen. Personally, I prefer the AA battery setup vs hardwired 12v as it's easier to install and AA batteries can be found anywhere. KISS 3. The device has a built in thermometer that displays the compartment's temp on the app screen-could be a useful feature if storing items in that compartment that are temp sensitive. 4. Lack of a flat surface on the device case itself for leveling the device-this is not an issue. When installing, anyone can see that the device is somewhat straight. It's all the device needs as you will go thru a "set as level" step when setting the app up so it will automatically correct for a device that wasn't installed straight. Again, couldn't be easier. 5. The included #4 mounting screws are a bit small- yes they are, but I assume the intention of the mfg was not to create large holes in the compartment wall if the the device is removed. I mounted mine to a painted piece of 1/2" plywood that was first mounted to the side of the truck bed with self tapping sheet metal screws. 6. Made in the USA-with USA support in NC, what more needs to be said? This unit is a bargain at $79.99 and is just one more thing that makes life easier when camping alone.     • I have recommended this to everyone I know. MUST HAVE GADGET!!
Leveling an RV is so painful and time consuming. Anything that can make it easier is a must. I have the drive-up ramps so that solves for half the battle. This gadget solved the rest. Now from my truck I can back onto the ramps and precisely know when I'm level. No need to walk around and check the bubble level or have my wife trying to scream at me when it's there. In a few seconds I can be perfectly level. Wow! I have used the one from Camco that you set on the floor, and it was garbage. Was not accurate enough as it could only get you close. This thing is extremely accurate, and I constantly compare it using my 4 foot level to be certain. The app that it comes with is amazing and easy to use. I mounted the device on the side of a cabinet. Quickly paired it to the app, set my trailer settings, set what direction the device was facing and instantly it configured itself. Anytime I need to make an adjustment the app has a button to immediately recalibrate itself. It also graphically shows you which side of the camper is unlevel and updates in real-time. 5 stars for the app and how easy it is to use. Couldn't think of a more perfect user interface. I love that you don't have to turn the device on. It runs in some extreme power save mode but turns on when your phone connects to it. Had it for several months and have yet to change the batteries. I don't often write reviews but I felt compelled to do so for the Beech Lane RV Leveling System. I have never experienced customer service so good. After installing the device in my travel trailer I downloaded the app from Google Play. Even though it showed as installed I could not locate the app on my android phone. I sent an email on a late Friday and received a response on Sunday with several suggestions. After several unsuccessful attempts to use the device with the android app the conclusion was the issue was likely with my phone rather than the device. Even so they insisted on issuing a full refund (which I said was not necessary but they did anyway) and sending a new device which arrived in 2 days. After experiencing the same issue with the new device I finally discovered the problem was not my phone or the device but with operator error. Please NOTE once the app is installed it appears as up as RV Leveler (not Beech Lane RV leveler). They were limited with the amount of text when naming the app. Once installed and you have your RV perfectly level the app works great.     • Great Produce, Great Value Outstanding Service
I had been looking for an economical solution to assist with Leveling our camper. The Beech Lane came up in a search. When I saw the price, I thought that it was a great value since other units I had looked at were in the min 100's. The Leveler arrived the next day and took all of 5 minutes to mount. Loading the app and unit setup too another 2 minutes and it was operational!. I could not connect to my wife's phone, so I emailed the Beach Lane support team. This was on a Sunday afternoon and I has a response from them 2 hours later. The unit can be used on multiple phones, but can only be connected to one at a time.     • This puppy is amazing!
I use this simple but effective tool every time I go camping. It was easy to install an easy to calibrate. I would suggest having two people just because measuring everything is more simple that way. Also getting the camper level is easier when someone can tell you how much adjustment to make. But once it's set up at home it makes your setup process at camp so simple. The glue on the adhesive tape that comes with the product so far has held up in the Missouri heat. The app has never failed me and seems to be very consistent. I love that you can measure your side to side and front to back level. Would buy again we'll buy again if ever needed! ... show more
