  • Yummy delicious, but ugly :)
Delicious apricots that are ugly to look at. They taste great, but look burned. They are gently soft to chew. They are free of any sulfate compounds. Great snack. Also, following the "oven toasting" of homemade granola, I add these apricots (cut to smaller pieces) plus other naturally dried fruits. Awesomely yummy. (The beautiful to look at bright orangish dried apricots are those that contain sulfur compounds - which I choose not to eat.) ... show more

  • absolutely nothing like other dried apricots I've had
I usually don't care for dried apricots but I have been eating them to try to increase my daily potassium intake. I have to say, these are amazingly delicious, absolutely nothing like other dried apricots I've had. I now realize that many of the brands I've been eating use unripe apricots. These have a subtle almost marshmallowy sweetness and firm, but soft and sticky texture. I can't stop eating them. I wanted to address something another poster said, about these being sulphered, they are not, I double checked on the bag, and the only ingredient is apricots, also you can just tell, because the taste is so clean. ... show more

  • Big Apricots for the Price
Very good option for a snack and the apricots are delicious.

  • Nice, plump
These apricots are delicious, Nice, plump, and soft. If you've never had organic unsulphured apricots, you should try them. The sugar in them is more like molasses. They are not orange. They are brown. Orange color is preserved by chemicals. If you go to your health food store, you can try a small amount. Then if you like them, buy these. They are the best. ... show more

  • over dried out and smell bad
I have had trader Joe's apricots many times before but this was of poor quality. Very disappointed and I wonder if this was a out of date lot put in a newer date package. When received the out of date or best by label was covered over but other stickers which I had to peel off. The date underneath said good till 12/2021 but these apricots were obvious all ready bad ... show more

  • Chewy but cooks well in millet
Flavor is tasty, but some pieces are tough and chewy. The bag is not resealable--my biggest negative.

  • MEH
What an absolute expensive waste of money. No flavor whatsoever. Even the bleached have more flavor and texture.

I came across theses through a suggestion and I have not stopped buying them....a bit expensive but I know they are organic and much better than most.
