  • Fun brain toy for all ages!
Everyone in my house and family have used this and love it. From my 4.5-year-old to my 70-year-old dad. It looks like a fancy, light-up Rubix cube, but it is so much more than that! There are several different games programmed into the cube. The cube comes with a small instruction sheet that explains each of the different game options and how to play them. There is even a competitor mode where you can have 2 different people play against each other and see who gets the higher score. It's a fun toy to have around for family nights but also a great gift idea for anyone that needs to keep their brain stimulated more regularly. The batteries last quite a while. We have been using it pretty regularly and have not had to replace them yet. ... show more

  • A Dazzling Blend of Fun and Learning for All Ages
Embarking on the journey with the Toysery Flashing Cube Electronic Memory & Brain Game is akin to discovering a treasure trove of entertainment that also serves as a cerebral gymnasium. While it might share a superficial resemblance with the iconic puzzle cube known for its twisting and turning, this gadget stands out through its innovative gameplay that emphasizes memory, speed, and coordination, catering to enthusiasts aged 8 and upwards. The cube is equipped with four intriguing games: ‘Catch Me,’ ‘Follow Me,’ ‘Remember Me,’ and ‘Chase Me.’ Each game is meticulously crafted to hone skills such as hand-eye coordination, memory, and rapid decision-making. ‘Catch Me’ gently introduces the player to the cube’s mechanics, requiring them to press illuminated buttons in no specific order, with the challenge ramping up as the game progresses. ‘Follow Me’ tests the player’s memory and spatial awareness, demanding the accurate matching of colors and positions across the cube’s various sides. ‘Remember Me’ challenges players to recall and replicate sequences of colors, effectively working out their memory muscles. ‘Chase Me’ offers a strategic pursuit, where players navigate the cube in a manner that requires foresight and planning. What truly distinguishes the Toysery Cube is not merely the assortment of games but also the physical agility needed to master them. The imperative to manipulate the cube by its edges and corners to avoid unintended presses introduces an additional layer of challenge, blending mental acuity with physical dexterity. Beyond gaming, the cube also serves as a source of visual and auditory entertainment, capable of displaying light shows and playing music. It keeps track of scores, fostering a competitive spirit whether in solo play or with peers in multiplayer mode. The thoughtful inclusion of a volume control ensures the cube’s appeal does not become a nuisance, allowing for an engaging yet considerate play environment. However, it is the fusion of intellectual stimulation with manual dexterity that truly elevates the Toysery Flashing Cube. The games, though straightforward at the outset, are sufficiently intricate to captivate individuals across a broad age spectrum for extended periods. This cube not only entertains but also stimulates intellectually, embodying a quintessential educational tool through play—a pillar of STEM learning principles. In essence, the Toysery Flashing Cube exemplifies the remarkable potential of integrating contemporary technology with traditional play elements. It presents a diverse array of challenges that can enchant anyone seeking a fun, intellectually engaging way to test their cognitive and reflexive prowess. Regardless of whether one is a child or simply young at heart, this cube promises endless hours of amusement and mental exercise. It stands as a vibrant testament to the notion that games can be simultaneously fun and educational, rendering it an indispensable addition for those who relish a robust challenge. ... show more

  • Crazy Cool Game That Is Also a Great Brain Stimulator
This is an awesome product that entertains, but also subliminally exercises your brain while you are having fun. It uses a variety of games to entice a person to get involved, while in the background it is providing increasing levels of STEM-based learning. It is subtle in its approach while being highly effective. At first glance, it might appear as some type of automated Rubik's Cube, but that is not the case. This device uses a set of carefully-crafted algorithms to present a suite of clever brain games that tease the user to try to anticipate different patterns of lights and sounds to give the brain a real workout while masquerading as simple entertainment. Kind of reminds me of the old Simon game on steroids. This is a perfect gift for your young tech wiz or budding scientist/programmer/math wiz. Don't let that deter the adult in you from having fun also. Even seniors could benefit from the cognitive workout to keep those brain cells stimulated. Great product! ... show more

  • Marred by a bad design choice and build quality
This memory game cube arrived neatly packaged in bubble wrap inside a carton box. It takes 3 AAA batteries and all you need to do is turn it on to get started. It has 4 game modes extended further by a multiplayer option. Further, you can "play" music with its music mode. The keys on one side light up which emulates notes on a piano keyboard. It also has a "light show" mode which frankly, wasn't too bad at all. The games are: catch me, follow me, remember me, and chase me. 1. 'Catch me' is a hand & eye coordination game where the buttons on the cube light up in succession and you need to basically press them in no particular order. Game progresses as all lit buttons are pressed, only to be followed by more lit buttons and varying colors for increased difficulty. 2. 'Follow me' has three sides that each light up in different colors and one side that's unlit save for few buttons. The idea is to note the positions on this one side and press the button that would correspond to the other sides based on key position and color. 3. 'Remember me' is basically simon says, each side having its own unique color. 4. 'Chase me' is basically Snake, the game. It should be a fun diversion but there's really no good way to hold the cube without pressing a button here and there. All of the "game" modes require working with all 4 sides and it's very easy to press the wrong button which leads to the game ending immediately. I've also had occasions where it wouldn't recognize keys pressed. All of the games are on like a 3-second time limit so the game ends as soon as you realize that it wasn't registered. I wasn't that much invested in the game and even I felt frustrated after few rounds. So I'm not sure how kids, especially those who get frustrated easily would react to something like this design flaw. To sum up, the games are good but it's awkward to use and build quality lacks for certain. It often leads to frustration and well, it only needs one chuck across the room to render it out of service by looking at its plastic build. At its current price tag, it's alright but I feel like there are better alternatives in the market. ... show more
