I've only used this once, to toast bread, upon opening to make sure the toaster worked. I looked over the instructions and they were fairly straightforward. However, I was under the impression that you could touch the front of the toaster to choose not only the bread type but how dark you wanted it. It does offer that feature, however, you have to use the up and down arrows to make your selection vs touching the option you want. The only con I have, at this time, is the beeping noise with every option you choose. So, if you are at 1 and need to get to 6, you will get a beep each time you press the button to get to 6. Not an overly big deal, but if you have pets that are sensitive to beeping, like I do, it could be a slight issue. ... show more
