  • Cool air with a lot of features
Size: 36 x 288 in.
It has 8 different speeds , can rotate Right - Left in 60, 90 or 120 degree, it can also rotate Up/Down or both ways in the same time. I am using it for the last 10 days and love it. Long term use? to be reassessed. So far so good.

  • Great for blackout!
Size: 36 x 72 in.
Have never been able to get our room dark enough with this top window. All I could find in blackout film over the years was black. I started to look again and finally came across a white! It is a very thick cling film. It has a nice grid across the back to make cutting so easy. I would recommend using a putty knife to hold up to the edges so your blade cuts nice and straight...figured that out half way thru lol . I would definitely purchase again . ... show more

  • Good, with Application Fine Points
Size: 36 x 72 in.
I got the white/white. It works well for screening moonlight. When sun comes up in the morning, it’s not a complete 100% blackout. But it’s much better than nothing. It’d be easy to just slap it up and I’m sure it’d be fine! Still, if you’d like more details about how to apply for optimal appearance, read on about mistakes I made… The photo is of a SE-facing casement window (at 9am, summertime, no inside lighting, no flash) with room air conditioner. Film is installed on the complete window above the a.c., as well as the section of window that shows above that. I cut and applied the film, without the help of another person. Here’s what I learned for next time: - It’s messy: instead of using paper towels, I kept an old cloth towel on top of the a.c., to grab and catch inevitable drips that came down while squeegee-ing. - It’d be easier with 2 people, however, it’s totally possible to do a great job of it solo. - Although it’s fine, it would’ve really been better to install the film on both entire window segments (both upper and lower sections of casement on this one window), BEFORE the air conditioner was installed. - Use a sturdy blade, if trimming afterwards! I purposefully cut the film at least an inch too big, sprayed the soapy solution on both surfaces as instructed, matched up one corner, then trimmed it, once it was mostly applied. This technique would’ve worked great, had I used a sturdy cutting blade. Instead, I used what was available upstairs, a rotary cutter designed for paper crafts and sewing. But this window film is thicker and sturdier than fabric or paper, so the pressure required on the rotary cutter to cut through the film was enough to make the cutter bend to the side a bit, as it rolled. As a result, even with a brand new blade, it was impossible to keep a straight line. I ended up using a scissor to trim it. Next time, I’ll use a more heavy-duty rotary cutter (like the one hubby uses to cut roof lining material). - It might also be worth trying to cut the film precisely 1/4 - 3/8” MORE than the window dimensions, and then apply it, and see if it’ll stay put, because a tiny overlap might prevent the light seepage through the edges, which you can notice in the photo. A very even, perfectly clean-cut edge may look better, too. I thought of doing it that way this time, but I was concerned the edges wouldn’t stick enough. After all, the film’s intended to stick onto a window surface, not painted wood. But now that I’ve worked with it once, it seems that the amount of tension required by the soapy water to hold the film up would be enough, and asking it to stick to those edges wouldn’t compromise its ability to stay up. Directions are included, on the flip side of the film itself, on the part you peel off (a long thumb nail greatly assists in getting it started!) Oh, another thing… you need a clean, empty spray bottle. They also tell you how many drops of dish soap to use, in a specified amount of water. Because our dish soap comes out of its container in more of a steady stream, in order to get “drops,” I poured a tiny amount on my fingers first, then let the soap drop from them. It required an even smaller amount than I first thought! Glad we have extra for next year. It’ll be easier to apply, the 2nd time, for sure! This product would benefit from a more detailed video by the manufacturer on how to install. Hope this review helps! Will definitely use again. Can recommend. ... show more

  • Easy and works!
Size: 42 x 72 in.
Honestly I expected this to be a nightmare to apply and not work but I was so wrong. It wasn’t hard - I did have my husband helping me though. It was easy to apply and it worked! The only thing that was not the best was having to cut it to fit my door - I’m not sure if my door was uneven or I cut the line uneven but there were some tiny edges that weren’t covered by the film. But you have to leave a little room for it to stick so I think that might be inevitable. It looks really good on the door though anyways and it’s way better than it was before so it’s fine. Took me about 30 minutes to apply on 2 doors. ... show more

  • Film is fine, Won’t order from this seller again tho...
Size: 36 x 144 in.
The product is fine. It works except it’s a little hard to cut the edges and corners exactly enough that no light comes through but it’s enough that it should work for us. They won’t be in direct sunlight so I’m not sure we’ll have the same burning smell issue other users have had (only time will tell) but since it’s in my baby’s room we will be paying hyper sensitive attention to it and will update if that happens. I do have a complaint and something to watch out for or consider when ordering the larger size (144” long). We received our order and it wasn’t one big sheet. There were varying sheet sizes in the roll (see pic) some wide and some narrower. There was also dirt or blood or something on one part and pen marks on the back (also see pic) as if someone had already cut it, and then rolled it back up and returned it and then they just wrapped it back up in plastic and sent it to us. The way it was rolled also scrunched the side of the roll completely. We ended up cutting that part off but if your window is large enough to not have a few inches extra in width that would have been a problem. One of the bigger panels also had a line down the middle where one roll ended and another started so it was 2 pieces glued together. For us, we were able to make it work based on the size of windows we were covering (plus we ordered, but for what we paid I’m pretty disappointed. I would maybe buy the product again depending on how it stands up over time but would never purchase from this seller again (Blue Top). Quality control does not seem to be a strong suit. I did not reach out to request a replacement as we had to wait long enough for this one (about 3 weeks) that we just needed it done already and made do with what was sent but wanted others to be aware when ordering... ... show more

  • Does not adhere to windows properly
Size: 36 x 72 in.
I really had hopes in liking this produce. It is made from quality material, very similar to old school window shades of the past. The only problem is that such a thick material is not suitable for adhering to windows and the instructions concerning using soapy water, etc, from the company "Window Whirl" do not work. My windows were covered for one day before the product began sliding down. I repeated the process to re-adhere but each time I did so, it again would last for only a day or two. What disappoints me the most is that Window Whirl does not stand behind their product as promised by their guarantee. I've emailed them as they requested on their guarantee website but have not heard back from them and it's beyond the return window on Amazon. I've wasted my money on a useless product ... buyer beware !!! ... show more
