However, when I flipped it over to view the clock face, I may have sighed HAPPILY (audibly)?! I was immediately mesmerized by the graceful simplicity of the pristine, clear 'glass' covered face. It's so pretty!! Also had to hang it immediately!! And it's absolute perfection in the exact spot where I intended to hang it in my office where I can glance up to see it from across my desk. This 12" clock is great! You can read it from across the room, even two or three rooms away. Even my grandmother can read it! Very elegant looking & readable in a natural light room. Difficult to read if the sun is bright or room is dark since the numbers are also silver to match the outer case. Love it, but wish the numbers were black for better visability.

This is a lovely and very nicely quiet clock - sweep hand - no ticking. It takes a AA battery (NOT included). I love the white/silver color palate - very subtle. 12" round. I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful.

After suffering years with a wall clock that made noise that was bothersome at night, I pitched it and got this one. Now we again have a large clock for reading the time no matter where in the room we are, and it's silent. It truly is silent. Don't get a noisy clock again.

This clock was liked by a lot of people and I did a lot of research to find one that could actually work. (all Chinese made = toss the dice) The clock failed at 14 days so I put in a new battery (previous one was new too, but batteries can have problems too). The 30-day return time came and went and three days after that, the clock slowed drastically then died again. Not believing TWO batteries can be bad in a row, it was the clock.
