I already owned a 50" version of this TV or something close to it that I bought 6 years ago or so. That tv still works great and has been moved into the bedroom now. I got this on Prime Day for a pretty nice price 😂 It looks good, the sound is good as well. I was a bit worried about that with some of the reviews but it sounds about the same as the 50" version I have. No real complaints there. The picture looks good to me. Most importantly the TV isn't laggy in the menu's. There isn't any real delay from pressing the button on the remote to the menu moving. That's all you can ask for in a Smart TV I think. It's got all of the apps I care about. All of the major ones, Peacock, Disney, Hulu, Netflix.... and it's got Plex as well so I've got all I need. Shipping though.... I mean, it is a 75" TV but it took about 3 weeks to get here and I was sent a message 3 weeks ago saying I needed to call to schedule a delivery. I did, they asked why I was calling so early because they didn't have it and it wouldn't be there for at least another week. The next week I called and they said... NOPE, still don't have it. Then I got a surprise delivery of the TV. It said No signature required on the box... I was home but Imagine someone just leaving a 75" TV on the front porch and it actually still being there when you get home ... it's insane. That's totally on Amazon/Best Buy though. If I had room for another big honkin TV I would buy another one of these. Easy set up (with some lifting help) and built in Alexa was a pleasant surprise. Clear picture true to color.

I wish I could return this. The remote (or TV) constantly gets stuck. You push a button once and it keeps going. You can't navigate through the fire tv menu or other apps because you tap a button once and it runs to the end of the menu. I have had this TV about 2-3 months and it has just gotten worse. Not to mention, it is very slow to process selections, like the processor is slow or it needs more RAM, or both. Now I will have ro get an external Roku and use this as a big monitor with a mediocre picture. Oh well, you buy a cheap product you get a crappy performance. ... show more

    • Works Fine as a 75" Computer Monitor
I didn't get this for use as a 75" television. I got it for use as a 75" computer monitor and I have to say I am very satisfied. Actually, it has exceeded my expectations. Viewing distance from my office chair is about 9-10 feet. Just be sure that whatever size you get, you are seated the recommended distance for that screen size. Responsiveness to the mouse is much, much better than with my previous 50 inch LG (the 50" LG was at 9-10 from my office chair but I couldn't read small text.) With the 75" seated at 9-10 feet, I can easily read all the small, fine text on app controls like Audacity, Photoshop, Gimp, Shotcut, RawTherapee, Premier Pro and Lightroom. Installation was easy, my computer is running Win10. There was no issue with display overscaling. The computer display filled the television screen perfectly, not too large or too small. As is common, the built in audio is ok but I already had a 5.1 surround system so with the 5.1 plugged in, audio is excellent. ... show more

I like the tv itself. it has a great picture and seems to run well. That being said I will never ever ever ever ever buy another fire tv device because of the ads being plastered all over the place. trying to get through the gauntlet of adds just to start an app is a chore sometimes. I got rid of cable because I cannot stand commercials and a*****n is shoving ad based streaming down our throats HARD and I cannot watch any of it because of the ads. Love the tv but I would run from this if i was anyone else. I own multiple firesticks and cubes and a show and will not ever buy another. ... show more
