  • Not as powerful as advertised
Size: 100W Color: White
Build quality seems to be good, I’ve only had it for a week so I can’t comment on longevity. My issue is I’m only getting at max 52-55 watts output out of this 100w panel, I have it hooked up directly to my jackery 500 it has been 90 degrees and crystal clear skies and no matter what angle it is set to it never exceeds 55 watts of charging. I’m no solar expert by any means and I don’t expect it to be a full 100 watts of charging but something closer to a 100 watts would be acceptable and this is half that. I know there are a lot of variables when it comes to solar and charging but I would think with how I have it set up it would be more around 80watts at least. I’m not sure if it’s defective or it’s just the way it is but if you’re looking to use this panel to charge your jackery or similar battery don’t expect a full 100 watts of charging. !!!UPDATE!! Customer service reached out to me and we the the problem resolved, they were very responsive and proactive and even threw in a free led light! For me good customer service goes a long way. ... show more

  • NOT Durable, underperformed DO NOT BUY!
Size: 100w Color: Black
Purchased two of them in 6/21, used gently along the way.. By summer 6/23 they were getting 40-50 watts at peak sun, by end of summer just 15-18 watts. Here we are in 4/24 and even after trying various jackerys and cables they are both unresponsive when plugged in in the sun. These things were cool and modern and expensive, $179/ea back when I bought them. These two panels are maybe the worst money I've ever spent. ZERO STARS, FIVE THUMBS DOWN. ... show more

  • A whole kilowatt of power costs only 40 pounds
Size: 200w Color: Black
I saw the ad for these solar panels and had to get some. A whole kilowatt of 100-watt panels (10) weighs only 40 pounds - each solar panel is 4 pounds. The price is also lower than comparable flexible 100-watt panels on the market. Putting these on the roof or on a 4x8 foot sheet of quarter inch plywood makes an easy solar array. These panels have MC4 connectors which is the standard for solar panels, makes it easy to "quick connect" the panels for portable uses such as camping with a solar generator. These solar panels would be perfect for stealth arrays that can move around for people who rent or have HOA's that prevent a permanent, visible solar array. The plywood array can be used on a sunny day to charge a solar generator and wheeled (or carried) into the garage in the evening. Btw., the 4x8 foot plywood sheet will hold 5 of these panels. That is 500 watts that will weigh 20 pounds, not including the plywood sheet. ... show more

  • MC4 not appropriately sized XT60 connector,
Size: 360W Color: Black
The media could not be loaded. Bought 4 of these sized, taped and placed on RV, once it came to connecting XT60 connection to MC4 wouldn't release. Frustrated cause I mounted and taped 1st set of panels 4 of these panels. Had to cut connections. Frustrated cause I had to cut wiring. Left a couple panels on roof not utilized because vhf tape was mended to strong, Called Amazon right away. They reached out to seller, seller made right with warranty and sent out replacement. Had to discard of two of first panels cause they were pretty much Ed destroyed on removal. Received 2nd shipment and tested. Panels do collect around 140 right out package. Of solar out the package. Still haven’t mounted 2nd shipment. Cause a little fearful of the durability. And first experience with first order. Gonna give a little time and a just place them rather then mounting. At least for the time being. I do like the flexibility. Packaging is good. Panels do collect right amount of energy. I will continue purchasing with the company but next time will buy rigid. Defiantly suggest air gap for costumers who purchase these panels. They become very hot once they start consuming energy. There has been only a couple of times they have hit maybe around 135 each panel with direct sunlight. Gonna give these a second go around still a little worried about the amount of heat even with the air gap. So far I have put three panels in series and have not got full potential. Still undecided weather to return and get get ridged panels. ... show more

  • Excellent Solar Panel for Bluetti EB3A Charging in Tucson!
Size: 100w Color: Black
I recently purchased the Topsolar Flexible Solar Panel 100W 24V/12V Monocrystalline Bendable to complement my new Bluetti EB3A power station, and I must say I am impressed with its performance so far. Being here in Tucson, I needed a reliable and efficient solar panel, and this one has delivered on its promises. The panel's charging capabilities have been exceptional, allowing my Bluetti EB3A to recharge efficiently even during sunny afternoons. I took a picture on July 30th, 2023, at 2 pm, and the panel was producing a consistent 53W, which seems to be normal for a 100W panel under real-world conditions. One of the key highlights of this flexible solar panel is its bendable design, which makes it easy to set up in different locations and angles. However, I did notice a slight concern when flexing the panel; some of the strings inside made popping sounds. While this hasn't affected its functionality so far, I'm uncertain if it's a sign of potential issues in the long run. I hope Topsolar can address this in future iterations. Overall, I'm pleased with my purchase. The Topsolar 100W Flexible Solar Panel has been reliable and efficient in charging my Bluetti EB3A, which is crucial for my off-grid power needs. If you're looking for a durable and high-performing solar panel for your portable power station, I recommend considering this one. However, I would advise checking with the manufacturer regarding the popping sounds during flexing to ensure its longevity. Pros: Efficient charging in sunny conditions. Bendable design for easy setup. Compatible with Bluetti EB3A and other power stations. Cons: Popping sounds when flexing; potential long-term concerns. Overall, a great purchase for my solar needs in Tucson! ... show more
