The blades are all dull with knicks on them as if they were never sharpened or the product was a returned product. Also, the thing is covered in oil, make sure you clean the blades up before using it to graft. I was able to cut cleanly 1 year old dormant scionwood and 2 year old root stock growth with ease using the U blade. Dont bother with the V cut blade or Omega, itll just destroy the bark. I’m gonna be honest… I don’t know what this item is.. I have no idea what I ordered… but my grandpa came to me one day and asked me to order this product for him so he can use it in his garden. He tried to explain to me what it’s used for but I couldn’t comprehend 😂 all I know is that he had the biggest smile on his face the first time he used it.. that alone is enough for me to give this product 5 stars! I plant a lot and sometimes accidents happen and saplings break. This has helped graft my eggplant saplings( bush size) along with a few other plants. You save more plants with this.
