This is the phone case I’ve been looking for. All phone case manufacturers talk about how much the case will protect the phone from a fall, and this one does too. However, I think it’s more important to provide a case that is grippy enough that it will prevent a slip and drop in the first place. This phone is plenty grippy, unlike so many other slippery cases on the market. The grippy texture and strong drop protection are reason enough to buy this case, but the numerous other features are icing on the cake: the magnetic sliding camera lens cover, the kick stand / magnetic charging dock, the overall look and feel of quality, and the reasonable price are all nice touches. I’ve been searching for the perfect phone case, and this comes very very close. The only thing I’d wish for is a kick stand on a flip/swivel instead of just a flip. Good case with everything I was looking for, but just fell short on a couple of points. 1) will not charge with MagSafe charger (I’m using official Apple charger as well) 2) screen protector is separate and there is a small gap around the edges of the screen I just remove the case to charge then put back on afterwards. I just moved up to an iPhone 15 Max and was looking to looking to find a MagSafe case that also had a vertical stand and this seemed to fit the bill. What I like about the case: 1. MagSafe, I previously had a iPhone 11 Max so having MagSafe is a new very nice and new feature to me. 2. A built-in vertical stand. I see many case with horizontal but wanted vertical as I like to read when I have lunch. 3. The case came with a screen protector so no need to purchase separately 4. While nice and rugged case but not too bulky 5. Comes with a sliding cover for the camera lens What I don't like. 1. While it comes with a screen protector there is no frame to position it on the phone so if you have a frame from another screen protector kit you might want to keep it around. That it has a screen protector included at all is a big bonus so this is more to point out I rely on a frame to position screen protectors. 2. Getting used to having a lens cover. I have taken out my phone and went to camera only see total black. Took me a moment to realize the lens was covered so going to take a while until it becomes habit to uncover the lens. (This one is really on me but I expect others might have the same issue) Photos: 1. The packaging before the opening 2. Look at the nice fit of the packing 3. The contents spread out including wet wipes and dust removers for the screen protector; nicely done. 4. iPhone in the case with the screen protector on the phone. 5. Back of case with the camera lens exposed 6. Back of case with the camera lens covered 7. Side view of the phone in vertical orientation. The stand fully extended puts to phone close to full 90 degrees vertical, very nice for viewing. 8. The stand opened but the phone in horizontal position. 9. Lastly the phone attached to my MagSafe charger on my dash. Works great! I thought I would miss my previous case and not find a comparable case with a vertical stand. I am pleased to say I was wrong. This is a great case and I expect it to hold up well for those inevitable "sudden impact tests" (dropping my phone) that will certainly happen. This is a much better value than the cases I have seen in the phone store and at the apple store. ... show more
