TLDR; this is a great chicken run/chicken coop extension, worth the money you're paying for it, has everything you will need to build it and not much extra, so be careful to not waste the zip ties and chicken wire. Pros: - Lots of space - Great price, you're getting a lot of materials for not too much - Instructions were easy to follow - You have enough of everything to get the final product and have a safe place for your girls to be (boys too if you have roosters) - I was able to put it together by myself easily in a couple hours. At the end my wife helped with the zip ties to make it less tedious and get it done a little faster. - Tarp on the top is perfectly sized so it is snug with the little bungee holders that come with the package. It provides shade which is vital in the hot sunny climes of Florida I've set up our chicken coop next to the run, and cut a little door that the girls can go through to freely traverse back and forth. They're really enjoying the extra space they're getting. We have 6 young chickens and they're doing very well with this space. Cons (not many, nothing serious): - It needs some extra weight/stakes to hold it down in case there's any serious wind. I'm watching for any serious storms and will take down the tarp if so, otherwise it will likely get blown away. - You're getting pretty much JUST enough zip ties and chicken wire for this set up, which is fine. You may be better at cutting and sizing each of the pieces of chicken wire, but when I finished I had NO more zip ties left and just a few scrap pieces of chicken wire. At the beginning I was sure I would have spare wire and definitely spare zip ties, but that turned out not to be the case. You can see from one of the pictures all the zip ties before I cut the tails off. Lots of zip ties needed here! In any case, this is definitely a good purchase for a beginner's brood so as to not have your girls "cooped up" ;-) ... show more

This coop is pretty nice,didnt come with all the stakes but enough to hold it down,the wire is SUPER cheap quality (but hey! Easy to cut!) so Im adding an extra layer (I had to buy the extra wire) around the bottom. Its Pretty spacious my Ducks seem to like it! Also the tarp it comes with is surprisingly good quality! The box that it comes in weighs around 80lbs so be prepared to lift a heavy box or have someone help you move it. The latch is NOT predator proof! for one person assembling the coop itself it took me around 2 1/2ish hours for the frame, and I had help putting the wire on but that with 2 people took about 3hrs itself just cutting, and securing the wire to the frame (if you take the time to fill in holes around the bottom so larger predators cant get in). Doesnt come with enough zip ties be prepared to buy atleast 100 more because the zip ties they send with this coop are very cheaply made as well!!! But im overall impressed with it! And pretty easy assembly (just time consuming) And one more thing is one if the poles for around the base was slightly bent upon arrival but not enough to effect the coop itself and it still fit the other pole, and Ive had no issues with it so far! ... show more

I gave this five stars because of how this company was with me. I bought this in August, put it together or rather my kids did in October. It's a pain to put together because you have to stretch the wire tight. It's not the most sturdy one on the market, but it does do the job. The tarp that came with it and all the pieces go together nicely. However, if you use the tarp you have to make it fit like an A-frame otherwise you will have a problem because rain will collect on top of it as the frame itself is flat. I didn't know this. We had a big rain storm come through one night and the rain collected on top which brought down the entire top of the Coop. We hadn't even put the gate on yet much less anchored it down yes you have to anchor it. I was two days past the warranty with Amazon but they suggested I contact the company which I did. I cannot say enough good things about this company. They were first going to send me replacement parts for the top where it broke and asked for pictures. After seeing the damage caused by rain, they decided to send me an entire new coop at NO COST TO ME AND FOR ME TO KEEP WHAT WAS SALVAGEABLE FROM THE BROKE ONE TO HAVE AS SPARE PARTS! They stayed in constant contact with me throughout the process and expedited shipping through FedEx at no cost to me as well. I was overwhelmed by their kindness and understanding.     • Not designed for permanent use. basic movable chicken run.

This is not a good Permanent pen for chickens, the idea behind it is a movable chicken run. but for the price, you get a decent basic frame if you do want to make it permanent like i did. First thing i did was head to Home Depot and get some pipe to raise the side walls about 3ft higher. Threw the door assembly out and build a wood feed shed on one end with Laying boxes and a wood door to enter the yard with. Second thing i did was get 1/4 square mesh wire to go around the walls and used the wire that came with the package to double layer the roof. i used the UV tarp on the far end and covered the other half with clear greenhouse roofing from off the top of the feed shed. the over hang comes out about 1/3 of the chicken run. ... show more

The frame overall was nice and fairly easy to assemble though it takes two people to complete and not all the parts are labeled. The wire on the other hand is vinyl covered chicken wire and is very flimsy. It gaps horribly and I fear it would not keep out predators. Ultimately a waste of money seeing as I now have to spend $250 to replace the wire for the whole thing. New chicken owners don’t fall for this. ... show more

Went together pretty easy. If you’re tall, you could definitely do this alone. Only complaint, is I wish it had a few more supports and came with a lil more chicken wire. We used ours as a coop and reinforced it with welded wire and tin along the bottom. For poultry or small pets would recommend. Bigger animals not so much unless you plan to reinforce it. ... show more
