The TOBWOLF Bird Spikes work great. They are simple to install and work as advertised. I installed them on the articulating arms and securing structure of my retractable awing and after one week, I'm happy to report, no birds and more importantly, no bird poop to clean up. Small birds discovered the awning arms and structure were ideal places to roost overnight. When they roost, they poop. Nuff said. I previously tried attaching thin wall PVC pipes to the arms to stop them, but it only deterred them for a few days. So far, the TOBWOLF Birds Spikes have prevented any birds from approaching, landing, roosting, and well, you know... We installed these on a small ledge high up on the interior of our porch to stop the birds from perching and nesting there, It's a protected area, so there was has been no need to secure them in place. Hours after putting these up, 2 different birds started building nests. I though these would look better than the metal ones, but they don’t deter birds at all! I will try to put around vegetable pots when I take them outside to see if squirrels are deterred or simply use for a ladder to reach tomatoes. ... show more

Had some birds that continued to build nests and have tons of babies year after year. The birds aren’t the problem, it’s the mess they leave behind. Bought these spikes which were super easy to install, durable and great quality. The birds are gone and have not came back!

I needed something to keep my cat out of my living room window because she was bullying my plants. I used 2 face tape (not included) and taped them down. They are a very hard sturdy plastic, so I was nervous about her jumping up and hurting herself, but she was smart enough to stand on her hind legs and sniff them, and she’s never tried jumping on them. They were very easy to customize to the size I needed. I do wish they sold these in smaller packs because I only used 3.5 out of the 12 in the case, but you never know when they could come in handy. ... show more

Ok, I am not an animal hater, I sent 10 years feeding hummingbirds and their off spring. I live in a large apartment complex and my neighbor started leaving peanuts on their balcony for a pair of large blackbirds. The blackbirds would eat the peanuts and then "swing" by my balcony, land on the railing and "relieve" themselves. I put these "spikes of death" up using zip ties and the blackbirds have not been back, not once. These spikes have a low profile (which I wanted), they are black (also what I wanted so they would blend in with the balcony railing) and they are closely spaced together so nothing lands in between them.
