Perfect for 3+.. I made the mistake and got for my 20 month old grandchild.. when I say it’s fast for little ones I mean it.. my grandchild got in it and it took off! Scared me but it is powerful and we have a rough terrain yard with rocks and high grass and this thing plowed right over and through all that.. we have to put it away until our grandbaby is a bit older. I posted a one star earlier about our grandsons tobbi jeep we purchased. It only lasted 6 months with not much riding. It would jerk with the pedal. Then it run down quick. Well it took me a while but I finally found the date on the battery was expired. I know the battery looks really old. So Tobbi is selling their products with old used batteries is why they can sell cheaper. This upsets me very much. Amazon nor Tobbi would do anything to help. Here’s proof of the expired battery.     • Small but SURPRISING

Shipped in less than a week from ordered, Assembly was easy although missing a few washers (could have been misplaced by the kids helping) I did not get a remote control, it is small for my 4 year old who was tired of riding around in a hand me down. But the size didn’t stop them from jumping in. The songs are kinda silly and she especially loved the lights once it got dark. I was not expecting much with it being so cheap, BUT to my surprise; we only charged it all of 20 mins before the kids had to take for a spin. It ran for at least an hour if not more; All over the front yard of our farm-it was slow (but could have been from not letting it charge). We have a gravel driveway along with grass that is tore up from moles in spots and roots from pine trees sticking up. The only time the car struggled was going up a slight hill but still managed to clear it. This was all on a low battery. We’re letting it get a full charge and see how fast it goes in the morning.
