Works as advertised. Mounting was easy and the lamp was made to last. I was going to use a smart bulb as I wasn't aware of the built-in sensor, but it worked because I was going to set it to turn off when daylight is available.

We purchased a previous set of carriage lights for our garage through a local box store. 6 months later... they were completely rusted out and falling apart. Found this set of lights and thought I would give it a go. The packaging was incredibly well-secured and we received both lamps in perfect condition. Everything you need to install is included in the packaging and installation is pretty straightforward. We have had them installed now for quite a few weeks and couldn't be happier. They are incredibly sturdy/heavy... and seem to be holding up to our wet fall weather. The light sensor is incredibly effective. They are a bit smaller than I was thinking (even though I read the measurements)... but they look great. My outdoor lights weren’t in bad shape, but the switch is not in a convenient location so they sometimes would get left on all day. Plus, with the shorter winter days, I usually come home to a dark garage because nobody remembers to turn them on for me. The photocell takes care of both issues since they come on and go off automatically. The lights themselves are well built with a durable black finish, and the fluted glass is thick and heavy.
