The Middle Buster is the ideal tool for planting and harvesting root vegetables such as potatoes. No more using a pitchfork to bring them up from underground. Attach this implement to your Category 1, 3 Point hitch tractor and watch as it plows and lifts them from under the soil. In addition, the implement is quick hitch compatible making the Middle Buster easier to mount and does not utilize hydraulics. It is equipped with a 15-inch double-winged cutting blade for single rows and will easily cut through tough compacted soil. We have also included the lower lift pins and the top link pin, letting you harvest those rooted vegetables faster. The plow seems well built and was a great deal when comparing prices. Fed Ex must’ve beat the hell out of it, cause the box was about destroyed and the paint was scraped off the plow in several places. I’m sure if it can hold up to fed ex then what I will use it for will be fine. Update. After 2nd use main shaft bent when plowing a food plot that had been tilled the year prior. The weight of this is half the weight of the competition after doing further research. Shipping weight on this plow is 38 lbs. Other models that look the same are 90lbs. I’m thinking it’s made with lower quality steel. I sent it back so hopefully they will make it right. It would probably be ok for popping potatoes up in shallow soft garden. It didn’t last 10 minutes of plowing a food plot though. ... show more

Seems decent. Welds are okay but far from perfect. The paint was scratched up and missing in a lot of places and that's not a problem for me, a little paint fixes that. The problem I have is the bolts are not correct. The threaded portion is not right and I can't tighten the bolt enough. Easy fix with a different bolt or a few washers but that brings up the lack of quality assurance and a lack of confidence in the product. Were slightly longer bolts included, improperly threaded bolts, or was the metal thinner or welded wrong and slapped together. I guess I'll find out when I start using it.. Update. turns out the bottom pieces are also out of alignment when they were welded causing the blade to be at an angle. My initial statements stand. Quality is lacking here. ... show more

Titan does properly described the mid buster as: "The overall width of the cat 1 middle buster is 31" wide and 38.5" high.". I just assumed all Cat 1 would fit, and have ordered that way in the past. However, I have an old tractor which is narrow deliberately as the shrubs were planted in 1984 with varying narrow row widths. The larger tractors don't fit. The width of 31" is 4" too wide and there is no additional space between the tires. The good new is that the construction appears excellent and I have access to a good fabricator. He will attempt to cut it down, because it appears to be exactly what I need. Certainly worth the try for us. It is missing the second bolt as described in other reviews. I have not used the middle buster yet, but the frame is very heavy duty, especially when compared with other plows offered on Amazon. Won’t know about the plow itself until it is used.     • Can bend if caught on tree roots
Didn't like the fact it bent pretty easily after contacting some old deep roots. Tree gone for over 10 years and still bent this middle row buster. Make sure your field is clear of old roots and the soil is pretty soft or you'll end up busting your row buster. Just a tad miffed at this turn of events. Roots are gone now so maybe I'll straighten it and hope to avoid this in the future. Should have been stronger material for sure. ... show more

It’s not a hoe. Will work though rain, sleet or snow. It’s not a hoe better have my work all the time. Not 1/2 the time, not some of the time but all the time. I’m gonna get you sucker. Lol. This is a great middle buster. Very well built & solid welds.

Works fine. Only issue is the holes were a bit small for my quick hitch bushing. Nothing a drill couldn't fix though. Would buy again, but I don't expect to ever need another one. 3 point would probably break off before I managed to break this thing.
