This is the third one of this type of pump that I've owned (different brands). The first two were reliable and got the job done, but it took a while. This pump is a serious step up from what I had. I was pleasantly surprised how much faster it was to top off my tire. I have a problematic front tire on one of my cars that needs attention every couple of weeks and I haven't had it fixed yet, so I've become pretty used to the routine. This took my SUV's tire from 11.5 psi to 34 psi in less than 5 minutes. Now.. some might think that's a long time, but with a cordless, rechargeable pump, that's a record for me. It took about 25% of the battery life to do this, which is also a substantial improvement than what I'm used to. One last bonus is the pump itself was quite warm (to be expected), but definitely cooler- especially at the air hose connection, than my other two after putting it to work. The display is easy to read and it's quite intuitive to operate. The only thing I can think of to improve it at this point is to make the button labels more clear. They're kind of imprinted, but in dim light it's hard to make out what button does what unless you know which is which beforehand. My guess is that it could take one of my 35's on my truck from completely flat to 'driveable' on a single charge in an emergency, but likely not to full pressure (but maybe?). The nice thing about that is it does come with a 12V plug to be able to plug the pump into the vehicle! So almost a non issue at all! Great pump and I plan on ordering a couple more for my kids. ... show more

I fully charged the compressor. Compressor filled a 285/60/18 tire from 6psi to 26psi before batteries were dead. Finished filling with the included 12v. cable. If you have a full size four door truck, the cable is to short to reach the back tires. Might be okay for a compact car.
