    • Works well, but air hose and power cable are slightly too short
This compressor is small and light and portable, and it seems to work well. My only complaints are the short power cable and air hose. The web page says that the power cable is 9.8 feet, but it's actually just 9 feet. I have a Ford Ranger (compact pickup truck) with two 12-volt outlets in the cab, and the power cable is just barely long enough to reach the right rear tire when plugged in. And this is a compact pickup truck -- I don't think it could reach all four tires in a full-size pickup unless the truck had additional 12-volt outlets in the rear (which some do). As a workaround, I plugged the compressor into the 12-volt output of a battery power pack, and that worked. The compressor drew about 7.5 amps (78 watts) in use and my power pack says it can supply 80 watts at 12 volts -- that seems like cutting it close, but it worked with no problem. The air hose is 22 inches long. If the tire's air valve is at the top position (12 o'clock), then the compressor hangs by the hose because it can't quite sit on the ground. It would probably be long enough for a passenger car tire, and it doesn't actually hurt anything to have it dangling by the air hose when I fill my truck tires, but still I wish it were a few inches longer. I have no complaints about the functionality, and perhaps the short cable and hose are part of the price you pay to get such a compact unit. It would be fine for all but the largest passenger cars, just beware if you have a larger vehicle. ... show more

I have a Honda Civic that I love, except it is very sensitive to tire air pressure changes and is always giving me a warning about tire pressure. I ordered this for peace of mind because I do a lot of driving. My husband was skeptical. He WAS skeptical, but now he thinks this is BETTER than his other big compressors! This tire air pump doesn't have to be charged up in order to be used. It is ready IMMEDIATELY. Just plug it into the cigarette lighter, fasten the nozzle, set your desired air pressure and press the power button. It automatically stops when it reaches the pressure you keyed in. His others don't do that, and he says this is one of its best features. I like that it is small enough (a little larger than a flat loaf of bread) to keep in the trunk for easy and quick use. I admit my husband had to teach me how to correctly fasten the nozzle, but I got it and it really is easy. There is also a flashlight feature in case you have to fill your tire in the dark. Which is awesome. Be sure to READ the INSTRUCTIONS before using it the first time so you can fly through the process. This is a product EVERY family should have. I highly recommend it! ... show more

I was impressed with this device in its design and love the idea generally of having something compact like this in the car to top off your tire pressure when and where it is convenient or necessary. Cords and cables fit (snugly) into an opening in the back of the device. Pressure reads on digital display and pump automatically stops once achieving the set target pressure (heads up on making sure you are in the right units). Device only plugs into the car charging port (no A/C plug). Cord is long enough to get to each tire on my car without changing the plug location. Device does indicate you should only go for two tires at a time with limits on pumping time, but I just went for it and it performed fine. Comes with ball and inflatables adaptors to make quick work of adventure toys on the road. Overall good product and value. ... show more

    • Works well, but you may need to rest before completely filling your tire
This inflater is really handy to have. It is light and quiet, and comes with accessories for pumping up most things around your home. It is not super fast or a high volume pump, so if you have a big SUV and the tire is really low, you may have to try twice, as you are not supposed to run the pump for more than ten minutes without letting it cool down. You can set this to the pressure that5 you want when pumping up a tire, and it will automatically stop when you get to that pressure,. preventing accidental over-inflation, which can be really dangerous. All in all, this is a great pump for the price. ... show more
