  • Hubby loves it.
Size: Medium
We have a few air compressors around & basically got this for the car. 1sst use husband said it's pretty slick & fast. He really likes it and it is now in the car any time we need it! No more looking for air hoses.

  • Does Its Job
This inflator does its job pretty well and if you are on the road and need to add a few PSI to your wheel, it is the thing to have available. It automatically stops at the pressure you set, but by the time you get the air hose disconnected you have lost about half a pound of pressure. So I have been setting the pressure 1 pound high and then double-checking the pressure with a hand-held gauge. On the other hand, if you have a slow leak and you need to pump up your tire to get to the next repair facility, who cares about absolute accuracy! Add a few extra pounds to make up for the slow leak and then get on down the road. Additionally, it has all the attachments necessary to do cars, trucks, bicycles, and inflateables like balls or air mattresses. ... show more

  • Good way to top up tires
I tried to use this to pump up tires for 3 cars. However, I ran out of juice due to the first tire being very low. The first tire was at 24psi and I pumped it up to 40psi. Impressive in itself that it ran that long on a minivan tire. But, it then did 4 tires from 33 to 37 and the battery died before the 5th tire could complete, so five and a half tires pumped up on one charge. If it wasn't for that first tire that has a slow rim leak, I could have done several more tires. I recharged the pump and then did the remaining 6.5 tires and only used about half the battery raising each by about 4 pounds. The pressure would rise about 2 pounds per minute. The pump makes typical pump noise, but not as intense as a 12V pump. I could feel air flow out of the bottom of the pump, so I did not sit it flat on the ground as to not block the airflow. I compared the pressure reading of the pump to 2 other digital gauges and the pump was generally within a half PSI of each other. Hard to tell which was more accurate, but it is huge improvement over those old gauges that pushed a stick out the end. I checked the before and after pressures of each tire as I went. The first eight tires were good, then the last 4 tires would read 36 pounds after taking the pump off rather than 36.5 or 37. I took the hose off quickly to reduce are loss and was the same quickness as the earlier tires. I would then put the pump back on and the tire would also read 36 psi on the pump. Turned it on again, ran for a few seconds and shut off. Same thing, would be 36 on the other gauge. Don't know what was going on. Within a pound is really good, but should be consistent. I will have to check this again next month, but I might have used car mode for some and the user(person silhouette) for others. Figured it would not matter what mode as it appeared it was simply to pick different PSI presents. The screw on coupling worked very well, much better than I anticipated. The end rotates easily so it is quick to twist it onto/off of the valve stem. This pump is going to live in the back of the car that does not already have an air pump. Will grab it every month to do my top offs as the seasons change. ... show more

  • Perfect little portable safety measure
This little inflator worked as fast as the tire inflator at our local car wash. It's wonderfully powerful. Who wants to sit there for 10 mins waiting for a tire to inflate? That is exactly what it's like with some of these small inflators though, I've had a few that take forever & do not cut off on their own so you have to stay there & wait. Happy to not have that issue with this. It fully charged quickly. It already had a bit of a charge when I plugged it in, & to fully charge took under 2 hrs. If it was completely dead, I assume maybe 3 hrs to fully charge the battery. I've used this multiple times since changing though & it has barely put a ding in the battery. The various attachments that come with are nice. It's nice to have for bike tires, lawn mower (if your's inflate), we've used it on a blow up mattress as well. This summer it's going to be my friend when we go to the river/beach & need a bunch of pool floats blown up. I like that the pressure is adjustable so you know you are only adding the amount necessary for your tire. I've had other inflators that have a gauge you have to watch & it's never possible to know exactly what pressure you're stopping at. This will shut off for you, & that means I can start in & walk away to do something at the same time. There is a rubber cover where the hose attached to the pump. Smart idea because the metal there gets hot! I thought the addition of a flash light was nice. If you're stuck on the side of the road at night trying to add air to a tire, light is a necessity. It also can be turned into a red flashing light. Again, airing or changing a tire at night on the side of the road can also be dangerous. I tested it with my hubby. We turned the lights off in the house & I turned on the hazard light. You will definitely see that from a distance & it could save your life. This is really something every car driver needs. It's great to have around the house, but better to keep with you. The fact that the battery can be e charged from the car as well means you never have to take it out of your vehicle. ... show more
