While I've only had this for a week or two, so far, it's a proven to be a great tool. With one partially charged Milwaukee M18 battery I filled very low tires on one 4-wheeled hose reel cart, one yard waste cart, one 2-wheeled hand cart, a yard tractor, a snow blower, a power washer, a yard waste chipper, and four tires on my spare car (45 pounds each). I especially love the light weight and small size of the inflator. Its portability makes it great for inflating things without having to be near a power outlet or a car. Purchased January 2024. Main use: inflating my Segway scooter tires. At first it was great, made it easier to get into tight spots and inflate the tires. My Segway tires need inflating about once every two months (also about as often as I ride it.) Went to inflate them today, for the third time overall, and the device is dead. Three different batteries that are good, and worked with it before, and now it just will not turn on. Save your money, or buy a name brand. ... show more

I like this compressor and I bought it primarily because it uses DeWalt batteries. I have a lot of DeWalt battery-powered tools so I have no shortage of batteries. It seems to work pretty fast and doesn't use the battery up too quickly. I inflated my son's Explorer tire that was completely flat in about 10 minutes and when I checked the charge on the 4AH battery afterwards it was still indicating a full charge. The only negatives I will mention are that the case it comes in does not have room to accommodate a battery, and when I check the pressure with my pressure gauge after inflating, the tire is lower than the pressure set on the compressor. A large enough case to hold both the compressor and a battery would make the case much more useful. I am not bothered that much by the difference in pressure as long as I can get it to the pressure I want. I just set it a little higher to get the pressure I want. The case is big enough to store a pressure gauge with the compressor. I have set a reminder to check the battery level every couple of months to make sure the battery stays charged, and if I use it for more than a few minutes, I charge it before I put it back. I have made use of a wired 12v battery-powered compressor for many years, and I was happy to have it, but I like the versatility I have with a self-contained power supply. Besides not having to mess with a long wire which might not be long enough in some circumstances, this compressor is very handy for inflating tires on equipment that does not have an electrical system or a cigarette lighter to connect a wired compressor. The other part of my tire emergency kit is a tire plug kit and a pair of coveralls. I have plugged tires quite a few times over the last 20 or 30 years with only my compressor and a plug kit. I much prefer that method of dealing with a flat tire over putting on the spare, especially when it happens at an inconvenient location. Another downside of putting on the spare is that ion many cars, the spare tire is a donut type, so it is a lot smaller than the rest of the tires which requires it to be changed back right away. ... show more

When i received this item I was skeptical as to the performance due to the price being so inexpensive. To my surprise though it worked great, much better than I had expected. I love the fact that you can adjust the PSi, pull the trigger and it inflates to the PSi I set without having to hold the trigger the whole time. It may not be the fastest but, I didn’t have to move my equipment closer to the house for the hose to reach due to its portability and light weight. I checked the PSi accuracy with a tire gauge and it was spot on. The hose length was more than enough to reach everything i need it for. This is a fantastic purchase for anyone looking for an inexpensive tire inflator that stores in its own case. I was able to use my own Dewalt battery of which i have several. This will make a great Christmas gift for anyone who owns any sort of vehicle or even to air up a ball or air mattress. ... show more

Easy to use - but buyer beware, despite the identical color and branding as the well known manufacturer, this is not made by that company and does not come with a battery… the batteries are expensive. If you use it for occasional tire maintenance then it is a five star. But if you are thinking this will be good for your offroad vehicle to air up after driving in the dirt or sand, you better get a couple batteries and a chair, because it will take a while to get your pressure back up.
