This vanity is absolutely gorgeous. I purchased it because I was going for a vintage look in my bedroom and this wood color was perfect. The drawer space is enough for holding the majority of my makeup. I have a pretty large collection, so it didn't hold all of it, but I once I put in my most used makeup, there was plenty of room. The lights are great and there are three different options for coolness or warmth of the light. You can also dim the brightness a couple of levels. Something that I missed because I failed to read the description, was that the lights stick on and the wire is visible. I was a little bummed that the lights didn't screw into the mirror and that you'd be able to see wire, but after I assembled it, it was not near as tacky as I thought it would be. The lights are designed where you can wrap the wire around the base and make it nice and tight and you don't even notice it once everything is put together. You CAN see it, don't get me wrong, but it's not obtrusive. Also, the bench is sturdy. I am plus size, way over 200 lbs, and I'm not nervous about the bench at all. I can sit on it with ease and I am not nervous that it's going to give up the ghost while I'm doing my lipstick. The assembly was super easy. The instructions were easy to follow. All of the hardware is well labeled and the tools are easy to use. I put it together by myself. I didn't really time it, but I'd say it took me about an hour maybe? ... show more

CONS: A couple of the light bulbs would constantly fall off. I ended up using super glue to keep them on. The wire connecting the bulbs looks a bit tacky on the black vanity. The stool is not very comfy for long periods of time. The dividers for the bigger drawer do not stay in place. I had to buy a small power strip with more outlets. It would be nice if it had a built-in one. PROS: Sturdy. Fast communication from the seller. The seller issued me a $20 refund when I saw it was on sale for a cheaper price!! (Would definitely buy from him again). The bulbs are bright, have three settings, and are adjustable. Lots of storage for a small vanity. The necklace hooks are a bonus. Three mirrors! They are also removable. Can be used as a desk. The two smaller drawers are removable and easy to put back in. The three bottom drawers have stoppers so they don't fall out of you pull them out all the way. My boyfriend put it together quickly and had no complaints. This is a great vanity especially at the price point of $85 when I ordered! It was easy to put together, just a little time consuming. The directions are pictures only, but if you take your time and use common sense they are easy to follow. I strongly recommend sticking one light at a time and wrapping the extra cord around the base of the bulbs as you go so you can keep the wires nice and tight. I saw some other review photos and the wires are just hanging. That would drive me crazy and it looks super messy. Make sure you have your placement and wire wrapped exactly where you want it before you stick the light on. Once you stick it, it's not moving! The drawer separators that come for the middle drawer kinda suck, but I don't really care. The vanity is for my 8 year old so the separators serve their purpose well enough. Over all worth every penny. Well made and looks very nice. I definitely recommend buying this vanity. ... show more

It's taken us 4 hrs to assemble this thing. The holes were either too big or too small. The instructions are not helpful in certain areas. Definitely not for a beginner. I almost rage quit out of frustration. While trying to get one of the edges to stay taught and smooth the wood broke rendering one of the drawers useless. Don't be fooled by the pictures. You can't really store anything in the drawers anyway. Why didn't I return it? Because by the 3rd hr I had come too far and refused to disassemble. And I'm sure that's why this product hasn't really been returned. By the time you get to a certain point you know it will be a pain to undo everything. Never again! ... show more
