I bought this kitchen for my grandchildren. I put it together. The instructions were amazing and Easy to follow. I got to the end of the build and realized I mixed up the screws, so when I was installing the ice maker, I realized I had the wrong sized screw and punched through the facade of the ice maker. I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my 20 month old son and he loves it. There are a lot of great features such as the clicking twist knobs and the ice machine on the fridge door. The kitchen itself doesn’t come with anything you would find in a play kitchen so you will need to buy items to stock it separately. I did think the curtains that came with it were a little boring so I found some cute fabric and made a set of curtains with a matching apron and potholder. This has become my toddler’s favorite thing to play with and it keeps him occupied for large chunks of time. Assembly time was about 2.5 hours and the instructions were easy to follow. Be aware that the oven door and the microwave door are made from a thin sheet of plastic and could be busted if you have a kid who likes to throw things or smack toys against surfaces. ... show more

The kitchen is cute, but arrived with several scratches and dents and was a nightmare to put together. A very small plastic piece fell off one of the door latches on the first day, which is a huge choking risk.

    • Cute but not for crazy toddlers
Love this kitchen set! It is so cute but my toddlers ripped the door off of the ‘oven’ also I would think the oven would open from the top but it opens from the right side although the handle is at the top. Looks exactly like the photo and my kids still love to use it

    • Daughter loves it!
Took a 1/2 day to build it, but it was so worth it! My daughter loves it and plays with it everyday while I cook dinner. Very well made. I think my only concern was with the ice cubes. She tries to put those in her mouth, so I have taken those away for now.

The assembly took awhile but the instructions were very clear. It's one of the few things I've assembled that I did not get frustrated with. Very happy!

If I could return this kitchen I would… I bought this before Black Friday for a Christmas present because the deal was too good to pass up. I should have assembled it then- as I’m now way past the return window. The smell is beyond awful! I’ve tried letting it air out in my sunroom for almost 3 weeks now and the smell is still repulsive. I’ve also wiped it down with vinegar. Nothing seems to help. It definitely does not smell like something I would ever want my child being exposed to. Also, just a day after my child started playing with this, the oven door broke off the bottom- see picture of super glued “wood.” All in all, yes this is aesthetically pleasing to the eye, but the hours it took to put together (yes, we’re handy people), the SMELL, and the cheap quality- I would HIGHLY suggest you find something else for your child. ... show more
