When your toddler wants a play kitchen and you need it to be one you can handle looking at day after day, this is the one you choose! It’s absolutely adorable, durable, made from high quality materials, and fun for kids. The only “but” I have for this kitchen is that it is very time consuming to build. The instructions are detailed and easy to follow, yet it still takes a great deal of time, even for someone who is used to putting furniture together. The end result is worth it though! Cute curtains, a “working” ice maker in the fridge, and a coffee bar! So fun! The company’s customer service is fantastic too. I had an issue with a part and their Customer Service agents were quick to help and easily resolved my issue (user error on my part). ... show more

The package was delivered perfectly a day earlier than expected. The parts were all packaged with extreme care. I unboxed and laid each item out in numerical order. It took me 4 hours from first cutting the box open to completely assembled and cleaned up. About a hour in, I thought “This is so easy!” Then things got a more detailed over the next few hours. I’m a fairly handy gal, and I never felt overwhelmed. There were a couple times I installed something backwards, but it wasn’t due to the directions. The directions were really clear compared to some other items I’ve assembled. I used an electric drill for all 64 “A” screws and hand-tightened most of the others. There were only two minor flaws in my product. The board with the microwave knobs has two major knicks, which I could’ve inadvertently caused (despite being very careful). The other flaw is a screw cap being misaligned/over tightened from the factory leading to a significant chip in the cabinet under the coffee maker. I worry the kids will snag themselves on it because it is right on what I anticipate will be a high traffic spot. I notice no smell or odor at all, but I did unbox and assemble outside. It’s inside now, and I smell nothing at all, but I’m generally not very sensitive to those types of things. All things considered, after completing all 36 steps of assembly, I am in love with this sweet and seemingly sturdy little kitchen! The details are so precious and fun!!! I can’t wait to give it to my twins tomorrow for their 2nd birthday! Time will tell how much lovin’ it can withstand from my very active little crew. ... show more

Beautiful in person & great quality. Very sturdy! I will say it took two competent people about 3 hours to build. It’s very detailed, but I will say it’s well worth it. My toddler loves it.

This set is absolutely adorable it looks so nice in our kitchen. However please note that you receive NOTHING with it. It is so hard to find wooden cups for the coffee and ice, golden spoons to match the gold hooks above the stove top, and other items they show in the video. I can’t find any pots and pans that are gold anywhere. It also has an odor when you first open it. There is a packing card that assures you it’s non toxic, but the odor is strong. We also had a very hard time getting the cardboard backing into the slots during assembly. The earlier you can get it on the better. I know these sets are mass produced and not everything will assemble perfectly, but there are some steps that aren’t possible with the way things line up. (A little finesse and we did manage to get it! Just have to be creative with a couple steps). It came with some damage to a couple of the pieces of wood. Nothing that’s a deal breaker, but it’s worth noting. It came with great directions, pretty easy to read and follow. Took a little over 2 hours to build. So this kitchen is so cute, and I was so excited to get it for my daughter for Christmas. I’ve been so disappointed in it. I went to set it up Christmas Eve, and wow. I didn’t have trouble setting it up, except so many pieces were miscut. Like, completely miscut. The most annoying one is the top pieces. The back panels will not go into the designated slot, leaving a gap, and not allowing the top to close completely. The cut is too far forward. Now, it’s not the end of the world. But for the price? Ridiculous. If I’m paying over $200 for a toy kitchen, I expect it to be well made. It’s honestly not worth taking apart, to send back, to get a new one to put back together. While I didn’t have trouble setting it up, it did take a very very long time, and it was the easiest build. There is no way I’m going to take it apart to fix such a “minor” miscut. It is annoying because this is not the only miscut. I also have trouble with the side panels on the bottom, as well as the two doors on front, and the microwave door. Overall, it is very cute. For the price, I expect it to be better quality as far as production goes. I am very good at putting together furniture, but if you are not, I can’t recommend this. Very disappointed honestly. Would return if it wasn’t such a hassle. It also does not come with any accessories, everything has to be bought separately. Very cute, but not worth the money, especially if this is an item you are saving up for and splurging on. ... show more

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my 20 month old son and he loves it. There are a lot of great features such as the clicking twist knobs and the ice machine on the fridge door. The kitchen itself doesn’t come with anything you would find in a play kitchen so you will need to buy items to stock it separately. I did think the curtains that came with it were a little boring so I found some cute fabric and made a set of curtains with a matching apron and potholder. This has become my toddler’s favorite thing to play with and it keeps him occupied for large chunks of time. Assembly time was about 2.5 hours and the instructions were easy to follow. Be aware that the oven door and the microwave door are made from a thin sheet of plastic and could be busted if you have a kid who likes to throw things or smack toys against surfaces. ... show more
