The media could not be loaded. I used to LOVE Simon Says as a kid. This is a mini version of that! I got it for my 4.5 year old’s Easter basket and it’s the perfect size! It doesn’t come with batteries, so make sure to have 2 AAAs on hand. The game starts off simple and advances as you go. If you mess up or take too long to press the right color, it’ll play a sound and start over. I think my son (who is autistic) will get a kick out of the lights and colors!! This is a cute little toy. It has one game, which is the memory game. The object is to repeat the pattern of lights in the same order the game does. It is like a mini version of Simon Says. It is not the best quality. The game works fine. I guess the best way to put it is that it looks cheap. It doesn't look like something that will last a long time. It was a good gift for my son who really wanted this kind of game after we bought the original full size version for his cousin. It's something he can carry around and occupy himself with when he gets bored. However, it's not really the kind of quality that would make a good birthday or Christmas present. It's just more of a trinket toy. Something to buy for road trips, or to occupy a child while in the waiting room at the doctor. Again, the actual function of the game works with no issues. I have wanted a toy like this for so many years as a kid and now as an adult I want my grand children to enjoy one. This is a very simple but fun toy, it really does not even need instructions. The colors are bright and the tones are pleasing and fun. I did not notice a volume control but it would be easy to put a piece of tape across the speaker output located on the bottom. As an adult I realize this is more than just a toy it a great memory learning tool as well. It forces players to be quick and remember and like anything expect to get much better with practice. I bought this to improve my own memory. But the individual games repeat over and I'm tired of it. Give me more variety! I also want to shut the sounds off but there doesn't appear to be a way to do that. I guess I got what I paid for. Btw, putting tape over the speaker doesn't mute the noise at all.
