These boots are amazing. Can’t attest to how they’ll hold up over time but they feel amazing out of the box and are true to size. I can see why people are saying they are “narrow”. I usually wear wide shoes and these fit me well though, so they aren’t so narrow as to be an issue for the average foot. They also don’t look manly! Which, as a female hiker, I appreciate. They are classy and comfy. I had been wearing LL bean but their quality has failed in recent years. My boots from them fall apart after 6 months… hopefully these stand the test of time. $90 for these is a great price. ... show more

  • These are my favorite boots and oh so comfortable
Size: 8.5 Color: Dark Brown Full Grain
It takes me a while to break in Boots but there was no break in these boots because it was like automatic. The traction is great on snow, and I even wear them in the summertime because they're very lightweight. The color is as shown on Amazon and the size and the fit are perfect they support my Arch well. ... show more

  • Hiked Angels Landing right out of the box!
Size: 9.5 Color: Dark Brown Full Grain
These boots are incredibly comfortable. I ordered them a few days before my trip and tried them on as soon as they arrived. I wear a 9.5 and I have narrow heels (they tend to slip out the back of most shoes unless I put heel grips inside) and my toes are fairly long. I was worried these might be a bit too wide and/or not flex in the right place as I walked, but to my surprise they were perfect and had a nice slim profile without being too tight/narrow. After being on my feet for maybe 3 minutes, I packed them up and didn't put them on again until I got to Zion. The morning of the hike I put them on and we walked all over the place as we stopped at pull-offs along the scenic drive, hiked all over the parking lot to catch the shuttle, and then hiked up all 21 switchbacks before climbing up the spine to the summit of Angels Landing, and then back down (~5.5 miles round trip for that hike alone). Not once over the course of all of that did I feel the balls of my feet/toes/toenails/heels aching, rubbing, or bruising in the boots (all complaints I read in reviews for other popular hiking boots) and again, that was the first time I really wore them for anything besides to take a picture. They were comfortable and supportive and I cannot say enough good things about them! I will add a note that the material does scuff easily (another complaint I've seen in other boot reviews) but I would never expect hiking boots to look brand new and not scratched up after that much hiking/climbing so keep that in mind. TL;DR - These boots are amazing right out of the box! ... show more

  • Good Boot
I read the reviews before ordering. First, the boots are cute, more girly than bulky others. The length is true to size. They are new leather so they are tight, but I walked around the house wearing 2 pair of thick socks, not comfortable, but it gave the stretch and break in needed. They next day the boots got even looser and the toe break loosened quickly. They are warm and comfortable but I wouldn't do a 5 mile hike in them. They are more cushioned than my old Timberlands which won't wear out. The grip is also good. I took a star because of the tightness and hoping they will loosen even more. UPDATE: I did do a 5+ mile hike in these and they were fine. If wearing a thick sock I would go up a half size but I found thinner socks and they work fine. ... show more

  • quality boots
Size: 7.5 Color: Dark Brown Full Grain
I like this boot; however, I decided to return it because of insufficient roominess inside, a personal preference. I wear a 7.5M, and the length was perfect, but the boot felt narrower than I prefer for a medium width. I suspect if a person has wide feet it might not work at all, and for some mediums it'd probably be fine, but I personally like a tad more room to wiggle my toes. In the same order I also purchased a Columbia hiking boot, and I liked that the Columbia has a wider sole, which I think will provide more stability for me. But this Timberland boot seems to be excellent quality and could be perfect for someone other than me. ... show more

  • Comfortable but not very waterproof
Size: 8.5 Color: Dark Brown Full Grain
I have been wearing these timberline Norwoods for about 8 months now. They are lightweight and very comfortable. I like them, but am disappointed in the waterproof aspect. I have applied a waterproofing bees wax twice. The other day I took my dog for a walk through about a quarter mile of wet grass and I could feel the wetness starting to seep in. It took a couple of days for the boots to dry out. I have read that other people are pleased with the waterproof properties of these boots, but that has not been my experience. ... show more

  • Sturdy, waterproof and look great
Size: 7.5 Color: Dark Brown Full Grain
I love the look of these boots, and they are comfy for walking - after I returned and sized up. They are perfectly waterproof and my socks stay dry even through some very wet walks.
