Description

Tim Hortons is Canada’s favorite coffee for a reason. For over 50 years, we have overseen every step in our coffee process to ensure we offer you the quality you deserve. That rich coffee flavor you know and love is at its peak right after it is freshly ground. Now you can grind Tim Hortons whole coffee beans at home for coffee at its fullest potential. After grinding, use it with a filter in automatic coffee makers, in a french press, as a pourover, or even to make cold brew coffee. Drink it black, with milk, or add two creams and two sugars to make our signature “Double Double” at home. We roast our own beans to ensure your coffee will taste the same cup after cup. Tim Hortons is happy to serve you coffee with care, from bean to cup and invite you to share our sentiment of positivity and togetherness with your community. In 1964, celebrated hockey legend Tim Horton opened our first coffee shop in a small town in Canada, serving our “Always Fresh” premium coffee blends to coffee- loving Canadians. Today Tim’s vision of creating a place where everyone was welcome to come in and enjoy a cup of coffee has spread to locations throughout Canada, the U.S., and now, the world. We are proud to serve you an amazing cup of coffee whether you enjoy it as your morning wakeup call or as an afternoon pick-me-up, from home, or from one of our worldwide locations.

  • Tim Hortons Whole Bean Original
Flavor Name: Medium Blend Size: 12 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I don't consider myself a snob, but I drink a lot of coffee almost every day and it's kind of become a hobby. I use a manual Heihox grinder (ASIN: B07ZNXQF4S), a Hario V60 dripper for pourover (ASIN: B001RBTSMM), and more recently an Aeropress (ASIN: B0047BIWSK). The Aeropress standard method has been my default brewing method for a few months now. I mostly stick with coffee that I can get at the supermarket, and Tim Hortons original has become my main staple. It's been consistently affordable on Amazon at about $6 a bag and is consistently great. To me, the flavor is "bright" (in a good way) without bitter roastiness, and it has a full body. I especially enjoy it after it has cooled down - the flavor really comes out then. I also like Dunkin's original roast for the same reasons, but the two taste distinctly different. I would contrast these two with Starbucks' medium roast, which tastes somewhat bitter to me. But then again, trying them out and comparing them is part of the enjoyment. ... show more

  • Surprisingly Yummy, and for the price... Wow.
Flavor Name: Medium Blend Size: 12 Ounce (Pack of 1)
For quite some time, I enjoyed imported coffee (I know, most all is ;), like Lavazza Super Crema, just as my regular daily driver. I would experiment with various other offshoots of blends, flavors, even quite a few other brands, and in the end, I found Lavazza Top Class Filtro (not regular Filtro, different) to be my favorite, edging out Super Crema. To give some further information which I consider is really essential for a coffee review, is to describe the coffee of which I am most a fan. For me, that is a medium to medium-heavy blend, with nutty notes, maybe some chocolate hints, etc... That fall sort of rich and creamy blend is my all-around favorite. I'll leave off a whole lot more detail than that. I'm no coffee expert, but surely like most, I know what I like. I also well know what I don't. I won't go into too much detail here, but suffice it to say, that as far as US Store Brands go, I don't consider many to be very good at all. To me, the worst offender regarding store brand is all of it being pre-ground. I mean, as it is likely nitrogen filled in the bag to maintain that initial freshness, once opened, each passing hour is just killing that flavor. My store brand go-to in this department, when necessary, has been Gevalia House Blend. Just as described earlier, nutty, smooth, good flavor, aroma and a decent kick, but not enough to have me zooming. Yet even this not inexpensive coffee won't pass 3-4 days when it simply is about as meh as most any other coffee out there. Truly it is a travesty that they don't sell the brand as whole bean, but that's another story. Pretty much all else that is "lesser", i.e. Folgers, Melita, etc... They are all barely passable at all. Absolutely not very good, and that's being nice. Get the job done, but not there to be really enjoyed and savored. All of that providing the groundwork from whence I offer my thoughts here, based on budget and really just taking a chance, I saw a bag here for a little over $6, and I pulled the trigger. I didn't expect much at all, but was really just grabbing myself a small bag while I waited out a bump in price hikes for my favorites. They had doubled in price for a small hitch, and while I expected it would pass, it was a n opportunity to try something new. Ok, the end is actually fairly simple. This coffee did for me at about 50c an ounce, what $1-2 an ounce at times was through Lavazza and other like brands. It was very fresh. Aromatic. Quite nutty, and for the price, I don't think there is a coffee that can compare, not at least one I've tried. I have now purchased 4 more bags in a row, and I don't know if I'll even change off, so long as they keep delivering this coffee at this price point. I mean, I even hesitated writing this review, lest I draw more attention to them and they begin raising their prices. C'est la vie. Credit and honor where it is due. (Timmy, remember this ole boy when your business picks up, and do me a solid! :D ) Having fun, of course. In the end, I am really quite happy with this product, and for the price. Just, wow. I suggest you give it a try if you haven't already. In truth, I wouldn't compare the store served coffee to this, as this is simply much better. Oh, last tip, and a must if you really want the best coffee can offer. You absolutely must grind it fresh. Seriously. Grinders are so cheap, and the smell of fresh ground coffee alone is worth the bump in experience. Let alone the flavor incomparably better. Hope this helps. Ps. Don't buy it all up! Lates! ... show more

  • Timmy's Is Great Coffee
Flavor Name: Whole Bean Original Size: 2 Pound (Pack of 1)
I ordered this as a gift for my husband, who loves Tim Horton's coffee. It was a great price and very fresh. I suggest that anyone who loves coffee, go ahead and buy a grinder and some beans. The cost for the beans wound up being much lower than the already ground, plus we know for certain that there are no fillers, sticks, or anything that doesn't belong in coffee when we grind our own beans. ... show more

  • Our go-to
Flavor Name: Medium Blend Size: 12 Ounce (Pack of 1)
We tested 10 or so brands that were available on amazon in the 40-75 cent per oz range and this was the last one we tried, it was better than everything else by a noticeable margin with the exception of the hawaiian coffee that is 70-90 cents per oz, which was only slightly better. This was the clear value winner for a daily coffee. ... show more

  • Coffeehouse flavor. At-home price.
Flavor Name: Whole Bean Original Size: 2 Pound (Pack of 1)
It’s Tim Horton’s coffee. Of COURSE it’s good! There are two secrets to brewing great coffee: 1) Beans begin to oxidize the moment they are ground. Always grind exactly as many as you are going to use in the next hour. This will ensure that you get the most, and best, flavor from the beginning of the bag to the end. 2) The most important flavors in coffee are carried in the oils. Coffee oil which sits for any length of time turns rancid. This makes the old oils on the surface of your machine bitter. If you don’t remove them, they will ruin the next batch of coffee. (In other words, rinse every metal and plastic surface which comes in contact with coffee - in Hot, Running water - between each use of the machine. If that sounds like a lot of work, let me assure you that it’s worth the effort! Your family and friends will soon be asking why your coffee is so much better than everyone else’s. If you want to take this to the next level, add three shakes of cinnamon, and half a shake of nutmeg, just before brewing.) Tim Horton’s whole bean coffee is a great place to start. Enjoy! ... show more

  • 🇨🇦 🇨🇦 Canadian Coffee‼️‼️
Flavor Name: Whole Bean Original Size: 2 Pound (Pack of 1)
We discovered this traveling through Canada, and it’s the only coffee place we stopped at. Once we saw them online, we were thrilled. I also hear you’re coming to the USA. Excellent coffee, there’s nothing else like it. ♥️

  • Coffee the whole family agrees on!
Flavor Name: Whole Bean Original Size: 2 Pound (Pack of 1)
My absolute favorite coffee beans have been Don Pablo Guatemala but it’s rarely available so I bought Tim Horton’s as a budget option that is a lighter but medium roast. All the kids dig it as a smooth reliable roast and I enjoy the consistency of the beans and the overall mellow flavor. Great bang for buck! ... show more

  • Love Tim Hortons
Flavor Name: Whole Bean Original Size: 2 Pound (Pack of 1)
By far my favorite everyday coffee! I live in the USA and have TH come by mail every 2 weeks (whole bean of course). Smooth and bold enough flavor. Everyone who comes over for a cup of coffee compliments me every time on how great my coffee is! If I was to pick a close 2nd it would be Dunkin Donuts.
