If you’re thinking about buying this table set just do it! The set exceeded my expectations. At first I was unsure about buying because some of the reviews was not so good and I was afraid it would be made of cheap materials but it’s not and it’s so pretty, fits well in our smaller place of a dinning area. Took my husband about 45 mins to get it all put together. And where some reviews said the bottom of the chairs was not flush and had gaps, well you just got to have a someone that knows how to use a screw gun and they fit perfectly together without any gapping! ... show more

Table looks amazing and is sturdy. Great value. Only issue we have is the chairs and table slide easy on the floor but you can add some grippers to the legs to prevent them from sliding.

I bought this set (in the cherry/black finish) for my son's new house. He has a small eating area and it fits perfectly. It is small but very sturdy and has an attractive finish. Nicely made. It is just right for 4 people.

Update after a year - i put this together, screws kept coming loose on the legs. Ended up using locktite on the screws, the whole screw with locktite ended up pulled out of the chair seat. The top scratches super easy. Chairs are horrible quality. Fits perfectly in our apartment dining room. We previously had an oval shaped table that had the ability to seat 6-8 people if you had the leaves in. But even without the leaves in and seating for 4, it was too large for this space. This set is perfect for us, we now also have room for a desk so we are not working at the table!!!! ... show more

The table arrived with 3 scratches on it. It is sturdy though. 2 out of the 4 chairs, after putting them together, do wobble. We have attempted to fix the issue without success. Overall, we love the look of the set.
