I made the mistake of not reading the manual first and was frustrated as I wasn’t getting a picture first. But after looking at video settings on my (old, 10yrs +) DVR I was able to use the little joystick to select the corresponding setting for the camera. I’ll need to invest in a better DVR though to take full advantage of the higher resolution the camera is capable of. Material looks and feels very sturdy. ... show more

Night vision is like a spotlight instead of a area. It shows about 20ft and about 10ft wide. It's almost useless unless someone is standing directly in front of the camera. I would Not recommend this product.
