They're good pencils. I just throw other pencils away that appear in our lives now and regularly buy these instead. They’re actual wood, don’t gum up the sharpener, they just work like pencils should.

For traditional pencils, Ticonderoga pencils are the best. So much so that many of the teachers at our elementary school specifically will put Ticonderoga Pencils” on their school supply list instead of “pencils.). You can buy them pre-sharpened or not. Either way, their quality is the best.

I like these pencils because they are affordable and come in a large pack. They are already sharpened and ready to go for small children color is as expected of a regular number two pencil.
