We use these tablets in our gray and black tanks. Add one each time we clean out the tanks. Put 1 in our toilet and one in our kitchen sink and dissolve with a gallon or 2 of water to keep smells down and to break down the grease, food and toilet paper. This was the first rv tank deodorizer I purchased from rv dealer. My local store did not carry this brand. I tried the brands I could purchase locally. They did not work as well as this brand. It eliminates odors better than the other brands.

After trying more than a few products that all left something to be desired in the wifes portapotti this product shines. She only uses it in the semi for #1 so my experience ends there. I find the product has a pleasant smell and is easy to use. We only use 1/2 of a pod at a time and store the remainder in a zip lock. A whole pod in the portapotti was overkill. Works well but not to leave for long period. Best to dump tank once a week but I was not able to do that at the time. Smells great, but have to be very careful since this stuff will stain anything. I put in a Gatorade bottle to dissolve, shake, then pour into toilet while its flushing. Don't let it sit! ... show more

Have used these for many years now with great success. yearly I sterlize my water tank and lines and use the bleach water to clean out the black and gray tanks, then 1 to 2 pods in the black tank keeps the odors away and helps to degrade the toilet paper.
