This is a 12-game campaign with so many new features and ideas that fans of TTR will love! There are lots of rules and gimmicks, so this might be a little overwhelming for newbies, but the game designers did a great job of explaining things clearly and providing checklists and reference materials. We played this as a family over the holidays, and everyone had a blast. We've completed three chapters and just added Florida to our map, as well as Employees. Every game adds some fun new twist. It's easy to learn and teach, and is a good value. How many other games are you going to play twelve times?

Ticket to Ride Legacy is unlike any other! You will play 12 games that cover the United States as you build your tracks (and land pieces) heading from east to west. Along the way you will encounter many plot twists - a railroad tycoon, a ghost, a robber and more! Dig for gold, search for lost treasure, avoid ghostly curses, and invest in reputable railroad companies as you race across the board to finish on top! Initial set up takes about an hour, set up between games as you unlock regions across the USA takes about 30 minutes. A very fun game that will have your curiosity piqued to see what’s coming next! Westward Ho! Upon completion, you will have a customized Ticket to Ride game of the USA. This game took me and my daughter three days to complete. Just a side note - you will need a big table to play on as I believe this board is bigger than rails and sails. We have a six person dining table and that was pretty tight with all the components to this game. Overall, the game is very fun and well thought out! ... show more

This game is awesome, it’s a bit pricy but definitely worth every penny spent! Unlike other Ticket to Ride games, you play through a campaign of 12 games at your own pace while slowly building the full game board westward. At the end, you have a huge custom game board to play future games with. My husband and I are halfway through the campaign and are having so much fun with it, I’ll be sad when it’s over! ... show more

We play a lot of Ticket to Ride. We have over a dozen variations of the game. Legacy is awesome! It was so much fun building the game board as we played the first 10 games. It’s still fun to play and pretty cool that we have our own unique game now. Great family fun!
