I basically buy from Amazon daily - and overall products are great, but I have never written a review before or even answered a question sent to me. As I searched for a new down comforter because I was frustrated with dealing with duvets, I came across this product that had the color, look and a price lower than I could imagine for down. Of course, I thought it was too good to be true, but decided to risk it. When I received my delivery, I was amazed. Beautifully packaged, great info and learned it was washable! Put it on my bed. And it looked as fluffy as it did on the pictures - and stayed that way with the recommended daily fluff. But better than that, it is the perfect weight and temperature. I loved it - but I have 2 dogs who eat treats, bones and drool on the cover (with no duvet). So as much as I loved it, needed to wash it before my review. I have a basic front load washer and needed to really shove it in. I just used basic soap and then dried in the drier for about 5 rounds on low. Each time it fluffed more and more. For the first three rounds - I thought it smelled. Then I realized…it is wet feathers. As they dried the smell was gone. Took it out and let it hang for 6 hours and was good as new. Sorry for a long review, but I have spent more than $900 on comforters you couldn’t wash. And I am in awe of this product. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. It does make a crinkly noise but I don’t really mind it. It’s the perfect mix of heavy and lightweight, heavy enough to keep you warm and light enough to not feel hot or suffocated and easily be able to move around. I haven’t had issues with feathers coming out yet. The only downsides I can truly point out are that it’s not as fluffy as the pictures, like most reviews have said. It’s a little thin but good enough for me. And lastly, it does feel a tad bit like paper. I have confidence that after time and maybe a wash/dry cycle that the stiffness will soften out. I like it a lot so far and I’m pleased that no feathers have shed. ... show more

I bought this in May 20 24 and didn’t notice right away that the comforter had mold on it. When I started to look around I realized a lot of the edge of the comforter was moldy. It was beyond the window to return it. I would definitely avoid this one. And I did like it up until I found the mold. It was as appeared in the ad and it was very warm. It is a little crunchy like people say and I think that’s just how they manufactured the comforter to try to keep the feathers in the boxes. However, there are some feathers being lost, and they did quickly move towards the outer edges of the blanket. I would definitely look elsewhere. ... show more
