I am happy with my purchase! I gave it four stars, because it is a little crunchy, and a little heavier than I thought it would be. But, overall I am very happy I bought it. I put it in the dryer for 15 minutes and tried it out our first night. The next day I put it in the dryer on low for another 20 minutes. That seemed to do the trick and fluff it out better than the first time. As you can see in the picture, it looks great in a duvet cover, and it doesn't show the squares as some down comforters do. It is lightweight, but just a bit heavier than I thought it would be, and that really doesn't bother me. But that is why I gave it four stars. I bought a queen and it fits the queen duvet great, and it has little loops on the corners to keep it in place with its duvet cover. ... show more

I already have a similar 75% down + 25% feather comforter that is good quality but I could not make it through the night without getting too hot no matter what type of sheets I used and no matter how cold the room was. I decided to try this one in All Seasons version and so far have not overheated. It’s really fluffy and if I hold it up to the light I can see how much feather content is in each quilted square. The comforter does have a “crinkle” sound but I figured out it’s not from feather stems but from the fabric on the inside of the comforter. The “crinkle” sounds a bit like a waterproof mattress pad which makes sense if they used something similar to protect the down and prevent the down and feathers from poking through the material. The cover isn’t thick and still feels like cotton, so maybe there’s a separate material on the inside that I’m hearing—It’s really not that bad but notable because usually that sound is due to a higher feather than down content, but not in this case. *** Helpful? This comforter is AMAZING! It is so thick, so soft, and so comfortable to sleep in. I have always been somebody who loves sleeping with the thickest blankets, and this definitely did the job. A few things - This came in the smallest package, so it was pretty wrinkly and squished when it got here. I would just recommend laying it out so it can expand. - I would put a cover over this because it is an expensive comforter, so you wouldn't want to get any stains on it, ... show more

This comforter from Three Geese is really great quality. The cotton cover is soft with a sturdy weight that keeps all the down contained. The baffle sewing appears to have been done with care - no loose threads or crooked seams. It has details that add to its quality like loops at the corners and sides to keep the comforter from slipping around inside a duvet cover. This comforter comes vacuum sealed in a plastic bag. Three Geese recommends throwing this comforter in the dryer for a bit after removing it from its bag to give it an initial fluff - this worked great The down itself feels very lofty and light but seems nice and dense - a true winter weight comforter. It feels really nice to lay under and keeps me warm without being too heavy. I'm happy with this down comforter from Three Geese and recommend it! ... show more
