I am a HUGE fan of everything truffle, and often cook with truffle oil, so I was so excited to have the opportunity to try this product. It came immaculately packaged; it would make a fabulous gift for any foodie. So far I've used the truffle salts and the garlic and truffle oil. Regarding the latter, you definitely get the truffle but I wish there was a bit more garlic flavor. That said, it's still super delicious. I think the price is reasonable given how many oils you get. This is a wonderful combination of different gourmet Olive Oils with truffles and Salts with truffles. The set is a gourmet cooks (or wanna be) dream for adding elegance to any meal. There are four 1.5 ounce bottles of different olive oils with truffles and two 1.4 ounce bottles of different salts with truffles. They box includes some different suggestions on how to use each item. I am still experimenting with different foods for me to elevate their flavors. But, so far I really love the Rosemary Truffle Salt on steak, baked potatoes, and eggs. Also, the Truffle Salt works perfectly eggs, especially omelettes. The different truffle olive oils also go well with steak and potatoes. The Truffle Chili oil and Truffle Rosemary oil, goes very well with steak too. (While the steaks are resting, I just drizzle a little oil and sprinkle a little salt on top.) I really feel this is boxed very nice for gifting and it would make a perfect gift for any occasion. It would simply elevate your Christmas gift basket for that special someone. At $4.54/ounce, the price is a little high, but this is very delicious and a little goes a long way.     • Great gift for a cook!
I use a lot of truffle oil of various brands and found this variety of oils in the kit to be very delicate and light in the truffle flavor. Not exactly what you want if you want punchy truffle flavor, there are other brands that provide a more robust flavor. However, the olive oil base is buttery and rich, and overall tastes very nice. The salts I really like, the truffle is more prominent and is great on veggies/meats/popcorn/etc... The gift box itself is nice, packaged well and is a great gift for someone who likes to cook! Overall, this is a really nice kit. I would have liked if the oils provided a bit more intensity in the truffle flavor, but otherwise they taste great! ... show more

I got this for my neighbor who likes to cook. I find it hard to know what to get the neighbors at times cause I don't know a ton about them. I think this giftset is perfect for that situation. Whether you know someone well or not, it is a very nice case and has different items. I believe the Truffle salt especially is a really nice touch. ... show more

Box screams high end luxury food gift set! Ingredients are extremely high quality with beyond amazing taste. Use a little or use a lot but PLEASE purchase and use this. Amazing, luxury, high end, top shelf and the list goes on and on. This looks and tastes like something so expensive words don't do it justice. Okay, I’m bougie. I wanted to try something fancy on my regular old food to class it up a bit. Truffle Mac and cheese? Yes, please. Drizzle a bit on my French fries too if you please. So far I’ve roasted sweet potatoes with olive oil and then drizzled on the rosemary truffle oil as a finish. Delish! I’m looking forward to trying the salts on popcorn soon. Just be aware the party will quickly be over because the oil bottles are small, about two dishes per bottle. The salt should last longer. However, these are good sample sizes to see what you like best before shelling out the money for a large bottle. ... show more

My kit was missing the garlic oil and had two plain truffle oils instead. That is my only critique, because everything included is delicious! The oils have just the right amount of funk and are versatile enough to put on all sorts of foods. The extra virgin olive oil is good, even apart from the truffle flavoring. The tubes of salt are also great for keeping on hand. I recommend this set for any truffle fan. ... show more
