This oil is impossible to find for me, and I didn't want to use another 0w40 for my Challenger Hellcat. This is what Dodge recommends, so this is what I went out to get. The oil shipped fast, and was well packaged. It's authentic bottles and contents, so I'm happy with what we got. This type of high performance oil is expensive, naturally, so the price is fair. Penzoil Ultra Platinum is the way to go if you want your cars engine to last a long time. The Ultra has an oxidation level of 11.3 which means it keeps your oil from breaking down and getting thinner as your oil gets over 3,000 miles and does hold up longer compared to most oils other than the Amsoil brand. When you first switch to it your first oil change, it will be much darker than before, but that shows it is cleaning the motor at the same time. You will notice after the second change you will notice the oil getting lighter as you keep using it after each change. My truck has 127k miles on it and purs like a kitten. The secret to Penzoil derives from its gas to liquid process which they have a much cleaner base stock than most oils. Its a group III category but it is considered a group 3+ because of its much cleaner base stock. I change my oil every 4k miles but this oil can easily run about 6k to 7k miles according to my Blackstone report. ... show more

Very good oil. I only use this or royal purple. Both aren't as good as amsoil but the price is good and you still get a really good oil. I change mine every 5000 miles which for me is once a month. Changing oil that often there's no need for amoils anyway

I saw a You Tube video where some mechanic thought this was a superior product. He claimed it made his car engine run smoother. So I tried it on that recommendation. I have no lab reports on its properties after use, so it is based on a recommendation. It is a popular brand name and their highest grade of oil, so I doubt one can go wrong using it.
