Because I have difficulty swallowing large vitamin pills, I take some in powder form. Most of the weights are below a gram so are very hard to measure on a regular food scale. This scale measures them accurately. It is compact and easy to operate. Great addition to my nutrition plan.

Be extremely cautious if you are buying this to weigh materials in the 0-50mg range (0-0.050g) as the scale is wildly inaccurate and will often not read anything less than 20mg. My advice for these weight ranges: do NOT use the TARE function. Keep the weighing plate on the device, make note of its weight, and use math to calculate the weight of whatever you're measuring -- it is MUCH more accurate this way and I'd probably give it 4.5 stars for accuracy if it retained this accuracy using the TARE mode.
