  • By far the best computer I've owned
Size: 14700KF | 4080S | 32G D5
I've always been into gaming. Always wanted a high end gaming setup but either didn't have the funds or the space. So I used gaming laptops for a long time. Alienware, Razer, and up until a month ago, an Asus ROG Strix Scar. Loved the ROG but had a ton of issues with it. After a few warranty issues, they just refunded me the full price I paid for it 3 years back. 3500 goes a long way when transitioning from a laptop to a desktop. I knew the 50 series were coming out but with everything I read, I had no interest in them. So I wanted a 4080 super. Landed on this bad boi and when I say it has exceeded every possible expectation that I could have had. Not one hiccup. Running games like Hogwarts on Ultra at 220fps is incredible. Not only is this one of the better looking cases out there, but it's WOW factor is huge. Every person who has walked into my house, has mentioned it within the first 10 seconds lololol 'omg is that a computer!?!?! It's so cool looking'. All personal preference of course but the thermals are wild. Even being in a kinda corner and near a wall, this NEVER exceeds 50° and hums along around 42° at almost all times. I couldn't recommend this more than I do. The glass panel on the front being push magnets is also cool. Just press the top in each corner and it releases. Then seeing the new info that the 5090 can't compete with raw power of the 4090 and the 5080 isn't beating the 4070ti and I KNEW I made the right call. Skip the 50 series people. This is a beast!!! Added an additional 32gb of ddr5 for 130$ and this computer doesn't even make a hum. Total silence. ... show more

  • Didn't even need a second gaming tower, but couldn't pass up a sale like that
Size: 12600KF | 3600Ti
The media could not be loaded. Pros - 1. Price appears to fluctuate, but I got it for $799 last week, an absurdly screaming deal for what tallies up to be $1300+ in parts. Thermaltake has a bad rep for some of their power supplies, but the ToughPower line this came with are acceptable. I prefer to build my own box, but this made more fiscal sense than piecing the components out individually. 2. The only other pre-built I've had that was this competently put together was from Falcon Northwest. Cable management out of the box was outstanding, components were in-house and MSI Industry-Standard stuff, no Dell style proprietary shortcuts. Somebody at Thermaltake deserves a raise and a promotion for proper QC while also pushing their brand with style. 3. Well packaged with no bloatware. Sure, I reseated memory and cables, etc., but it really was ready to go out of the box and no MSI brick software for me to uninstall. There was even a real benchmark screenshot waiting on a nearly bone-stock installation of Windows that proved someone actually turned it on, installed PROPER drivers in the last year, and tested it before boxing it up. Modern Warfare III with DLSS balanced setting on that little 3060 ti was valiantly keeping pace with a 1440x3440 120hz display, no problem. Cons - 1. Prices fluctuate, the parts are a generation behind, 650 watts won't tolerate too many add-ons 2. 16gb of memory and no mechanical bulk HDD's. But that may actually be a good thing. Someone might want nothing but nvme drives living on the board. I like the hidden mechanical drive bays behind the mobo, despite cooling concerns, and if you double the memory sticks you get FOUR flashy RGB sticks. Yay. 3. Open case designs are a matter of taste, and this one has no front USB-C port But overall, this is the first real case for buying prebuilt over DIY I've seen that makes it worth recommending to friends and family. You're getting a solid start on a budget gaming desktop for 60% of the MSRP of it's last-gen but still relevant parts. ... show more

  • Great pc, despite a few issues at first.
Size: 12600KF | 3600Ti
UPDATE: I ordered a 2nd one since it was such a good deal. It arrived today, and as luck would have it, they sent the wrong one! My advise, CHECK YOUR DELIVERED ITEM!!! So, the 1st one I ordered died within 30 minutes...power supply crapped out. Amazon customer service was great, and sent a replacement, and arranged for a pickup. 2nd one arrived in good shape, but had issues with the bluetooth, and wifi not working. I was able to resolve the wifi issue by adding a feature from Windows, but the bluetooth still wouldn't work. Rather than crate up a 2nd pc, I ordered a wifi6 card and installed it. I then disabled the on-board wifi and bluetooth on the motherboard, and added the drivers for the card. It's been working perfectly since. It was quite a hassle doing all of that, but in the end it was worth it. This pc screams! The 3060ti is a great card...better than a 4060, since it's memory is twice as fast. All components are name brand, MSI, and the system looks great. You couldn't build this system without spending at least $400 more than this costs pre-built. I'd say that this pc should be future proof for a good 3-4 years, and then, the only upgrade you'd probably need would be the video card. Also, bumping the memory to 32gb is also a good idea...the thermaltake memory is quite expensive, but a 32gb kit of argb memory from other manufacturers can be found for roughly $100 or so. In spite of the initial headaches, I'm really glad to have this, so much so that I bought a 2nd one. As far as an inexpensive gaming computer goes, this is hands down the best deal on Amazon...period. ... show more

Having a serious problem with the 14700kf chip. Intel known issue. And customer support is garbage to deal with. I would not recommend at all unless you want to be stuck with a desk weight

  • Great customer service. Product exactly as advertised. Great looking machine.
Size: 12600KF | 3600Ti
This PC has served me well for 2 years. The water cooler went out about 6 months ago (pump broke) and the company mailed me a new one within a week. Fantastic customer service and a visually spectacular PC that has managed to keep up with all my games flawlessly.
