I ran across mention of this product on the internet while researching retin-a products. The reviews were good and the price was affordable enough that I took the plunge. It's only been 4 nights and already the fine lines on the apples of my cheeks have been smoothed away? Filled in? I have no idea and really don't think a product can work this quickly....but here I am. I almost never write reviews about skin care products, negative or positive, because I've tried so many in the past....who has that kind of time! I couldn't wait to share with people what is happening. Is it a fluke? Maybe. But I can't tell you how many times I've been to the mirror in the last couple of days to check my make-up-free face, to make sure what I thought I was seeing, is still accurate. I have great hope for much improvement by the month's end. I started with the 2% because it is supposed to be milder. The next bottle I purchase will be the 3%. I have had no reaction, no breakouts, just GREAT results!! The consistency DOES feel like "cooking oil" and only a few drops will do, otherwise your face will not absorb it in time for bed. (If it turns out to actually BE cooking oil, that would be a hoot!) BTW, I'm approaching age 70, The improvements may not be as easy to detect on younger, less wrinkled skin. It feels the same when applied to a previous bottle I purchase from the ordinary website . This bottle has a blue color to the serum ? Hopefully no artificial coloring added to my skin care or this is a doe product ? Otherwise feels the same .

Ok, I normally don’t bother to write these, but this stuff is amazing. I already have great skin (lots of water and sunscreen), but I also have combination skin, which makes choosing any lotion, even anti-aging, a challenge. So when I saw this stuff and the pricetag, I hoped it was the answer. IT IS. I was skeptical. Two percent retinol is no joke, so I thought it might be too harsh for my skin, but it’s not. I also thought for the price there was no way it would work. I put it on under my heavy duty night moisturizer and I have zero irritation. Also, I saw results immediately. I don’t have much in the way of lines yet, but I noticed I had a very definite glow even after just a couple of uses. And the faint lines I was getting on my forehead are pretty much gone. A great serum to improve the appearance of your fine lines and wrinkles as well as texture on your skin. I like to use it along with Niaminicide at night but it can be used in the morning. It is a creamy serum so you want to use it in line after your water based products and before your moisturizer. Be sure to use SPF if you are using this consistently as retinoids make an obvious difference in sun sensitivity on your skin. ... show more
