Bought this for my wife, child, and 90lb dog to use when car camping. It has a large vestibule and main room! It was a bit confusing to set up, but once it’s up it’s really sturdy. We bought some thick footprints / tarps for under it and that was great. It rained when we used it and there were no leaks. All in the whole thing is pretty heavy but that’s tolerable when car camping. I’d never backpack with this. ... show more

Hard to say how good the product would have been new. It was sent used with broken and potentially dangerous pieces. As you can see from the picture, I’m glad I didn’t run my hand across the jagged broken aluminum reaching into the pole bag.

I actually used this tent on a hot but rainy day. It had enough ventilation to stay cool (granted i had a small rechargeable fan) and the bottom lining kept my air matress and all my blankets completely dry. I had a queen bed and enough space for a small side table width wise. Depth wise I had a slightly bigger space so plenty of room for changing and just hanging out inside the tent. Ouside i had enogh space for a chair small foldable table (like 1.5x1.5ft) two big coolers and random things laying around. The mornings were cold but i remained really warm. Definitely do not recomend due to fire hazard but i did keep a tea light lit on the area that did not have the waterproof floring. I wet the grass and set the tealight on something sturdy with nothing around this may add to why it was also really warm. Im happy with my purchase. ... show more

    • How can you be the king of the campground without a castle?

This is a great tent! Had this tent up for a week at boy scout camp, and it rained on and off the entire time, at times very heavily. Me and all my things stayed bone dry. Being able to sit in my chair under the covered vestibule and watch the storm was a uniquely relaxing experience, and not something ive ever done camping before. Theres enough room in the vestibule for two good sized people and chairs. I even had a small table. Inside we had two large cots and a duffel for clothes, and things never felt cramped. Materials of construction feel great, stitching is strong and the zippers, while not YKK brand are name brand, and very smooth, AND SNAG-LESS. The poles are a proprietary aluminum material, and are VERY stout. I wouldn't hesitate to leave this up in heavy winds if needed. The ONLY improvement I would make to this tent would be adding the ability to open and close vents from inside the tent. at one point we had to brave the rain to run outside the tent to close side vents. Overall, I would absolutely buy this tent again, and recommend it to anyone looking for a car camping tent for 2-3 people, or 2 adults and 2 kids. ... show more

Love the quality of this tent; but it most definitely requires more than the 6 stakes that was included! This can’t be right? It’s not like it was a K-Mart special - cost a good chunk of change- and I must but more stakes?
