At the end of the school year, padding has held up to high school student, zippers intact, exterior in good condition. Only complaint is the interior of one of the side pockets tore (thin material/unlike rest of bag which creates a “tunnel” from the outside water bottle area into the bag. I got this backpack for my boyfriend and he loved it! There is a laptop pocket as well as many other pocket for books, iPads, etc. Best part is that it can be used for hiking and my boyfriend actually wore it when he went snowboarding!
