I have a 2017 black F250. I live in Florida and the truck is out 24x7 because it doesn’t fit in the garage. I did a full paint correction last weekend (wash, clay bar, iron x, two step polish). I usually use follow with chemical guys jet seal followed by wax. I do this process at least once a year to keep it looking good since it is outside. Instead, I picked up “the last coat” 2.0 and put it on. This product is amazing. It goes on incredibly easy. It looks just as good, if not better than when I jet seal plus wax. It saved me hours of work. The rain beads off and the car still looks freshly washed one week later. Doing automobile detailing in the Florida sun, on a black truck is tricky. Any step I can save I will. I’m a customer for life. My only regret is not knowing about your “black ice”. I would have used that instead since I did a complete paint correction (17 hours of work). I have never ceramic coated my truck because it would be almost impossible with the heat and sunlight. With your black ice product, I don’t think it would be an issue at all. Really a nice finish to a hand car wash. Goes on easy, buffs up nicely, and lasts. I rated 3 stars for easy to remove because I NEVER want to remove it! The water SHEETS off - paint, glass, chrome. I use on wheels too (but watch the brakes). And the shine…..

I have 5 cars and a jet ski that’s hand wax 2x per year. I hate doing it. It takes all day. This Last One 2 got great reviews including car and driver magazine. I’m always skeptical but tried it. My verdict? It’s good depending on what you are looking for. Pro: very easy to apply and looks good when finished. I love that it makes the black trim black (no wax residue). It looks great on the wheels Con: it doesn’t leave the surface as slippery as everyone says. It is ok but my polish towel didn’t slide off the hood. I am curious as to how long this will last. I feel it’s needed to apply after every wash which will defeat the purpose to have a 2x per year coating. We’ll see. It is non abrasive so if your paint is in good shape it will work good but it is not a cleaner wax so you will need to clay bar to get a smooth surface. Overall I’ll give it 4 stars because I applied it to a Ram 1500 (2 coats), Jeep Compass, 67 camaro, 1997 jet ski and still have a little less than half a bottle and I applied it liberally. It took about 2 hours for each vehicle to apply. My best results were when I applied to a door then immediately wiped it off. When I let it sit longer like wax it evaporated off and there was nothing to wipe off. I have 2 more vehicles to do. If it can last thru winter I’ll buy more in the spring I bought the big bottle and they gave me another small 8oz one for free for leaving this review. I want to be as honest as possible so please review photos for results I hope that helps ... show more

I applied it to a fully decontaminated and prepped truck. Strip Wash, Clay Bar, Wipe Out iso spray. I am absolutely amazed at the results. It was the EASIEST application of any product I have ever used. I’ve used Adam’s Ceramic Spray coating (lasted 6 months in Hot weather), I’ve used Chemical Guys Hydroslick Wax (for me that product was not easy to remove at all). I even used this on two separate other vehicles that never had any type of ceramic coating and the results were the same - fantastic. Applying the Last Coat was so simple, and there really wasn’t anything that needed to be removed. I just simply buffed it in a hashtag pattern right after applying it like the directions say to do. The color depth is amazing, the water beading is absolutely insane. It’s been two weeks since I applied it and my truck is dirty now, but when it rains the dirt pretty much falls right off. I used this on my paint, windows, and plastic trim. I’m going to apply it to my rims after I wash it next. I hope this product maintains the hydrophobic qualities for a decent amount of time in the hot and rainy weather. I have a feeling it will. Also - the paint is very slick which I love. This product is simply amazing. I’m not sure which quality I love more -the simplicity of applying it or the actual results themselves. I definitely recommend it. ... show more

We had a couple days of rain coming up so I wanted to test this stuff out good. Used more than what the bottle said I would for 1 car… but after application, following all directions, it wsn’t all that slick. Water beaded off of it ok, so I shrugged and said we’ll see. After the first day of rain, the car still looked like it did after I applied it. Great!! I used a blower and blew off the water beaded up on the top of the car. Today, after not as much rain as yesterday, I got to my car after work and it had spots and streaks all over it. I thought - maybe it just needs to be hosed off. Nope, pics are after it was hosed and blown off. Same spot and streaks that were there there before the rinse and dry. So, it’s good for one good rain. Not so much after that. ... show more
