First time ever using polishing product. cleaned paint surface with a IPA water blend then tried it with a few dabs on a clean microfiber cloth, hand rubbed it for a few seconds on three stubborn spots (unknown substance, possible dried bird poop). rubbing alcohol and Goo Off wouldn't get them off. I really like this wax. I use a lot of meguiars products like car wash, compounds, wax, etc. I had been using their NXT wax for a while and loved how well it worked and the ease of application. I didn’t have to be in a hurry to wipe it off after I let it set up, just easy to wipe and buff after. I tend to buy the pro products and like that they’re available in gallon or half gallon sizes. I read a lot of great reviews about the mirror glaze 21 synthetic 2.0 and figured I’d give it a shot. First impressions were great. Same purple color, consistency, smell as NXT. Well, it turns out, it’s Meguiars pro version of the NXT 2.0. What does that mean? Not sure, just that it comes in a bigger jug that says professional on it. Whatever the case, this stuff is great. I apply by hand or use it with a black pad on my random orbital DA. Nice finish and leaves that smoothness where the microfiber cloth seems to hover over the hood and slide off when you’re done. I use this on all of the windows and panoramic glass roof too. Keeps them clean longer and water beads off nicely. Great stuff, highly recommend, will buy again. ... show more

I used this with a rotary buffer and a MENZERNA 6 Inch Polishing Pad HEAVY CUT for Scratch Repair. I was mainly trying to get a long 6" wide and four foot long abrasion off the passenger side of my car. I went over the sections many times and did get a good amount of the abrasion minimized. But, it is still noticeable in spots. It could be my technique or gear, but overall I felt like it was a good compound but not excellent. It is very tough to remove with a soft cloth if it dries or comes close to drying. But, it's a fine line between it being wet and smearing around or being a little too dry/thin and really having to work at it to get the residue off. It did work well at getting most of my headlight lens "fog" off. But once again, difficult to wipe off the residue. ... show more

This winter, I was running late to work. I ran out of my house with just enough time to spare only to find that there had been a sneaky ice storm the night before and my windshield had a thick layer of ice covering its surface. I frantically began scraping. After attempting to remove several layers of ice to no avail, I ran back inside and returned with a bottle of rubbing alcohol. It worked. But as the ice melted, I saw scratches on all of the windows I had just scraped. They were EVERYWHERE and deep enough that my nail would catch. I don’t know how this happened 🤷♀️. I’ve done this numerous times, and I checked for sharp edges after the fact and there weren’t any. Maybe it was my technique 😬. Anyway, life got busy and I found myself driving around with scratched windows. It was embarrassing, but I wasn’t ready to bite the bullet and replace half of my otherwise perfectly functional windows. I ordered this on a whim and wow! It works! Actually bought this to restore a discolored/faded set of taillights on a 25 year old Chevy truck. Plenty of clear plastic/headlight restoration products but couldn’t find anything for colored plastics. New lights were anywhere from $150 to $300 for a set. Always had good experience with this company’s products so thought I’d try it on the taillights, even though it’s marketed for paint. After 3 applications, the lights look new!
