  • I don't get the negative reviews, I really enjoyed this game
Platform For Display: PlayStation 5 Edition: Standard Edition
What a great horror genre game that changes things up enough to be interesting. I completed it quite quickly as I really couldn't put it down once I started, which is rare for me. The good: -Graphics!...so many complaints about graphics, but I loved the environment, characters and yes, even the mouth sync. Maybe it's patched from what it was on release, but there is not much to complain about. It's a legit PS5 game. I honestly, more than once, found myself stopping and just slowly spinning the camera for the view alone, the environment is beautiful. -Voiceover: Well done! Everyone knows what their character is doing when they are speaking lines, no robot lines! -Story. I like it. A lot. I see reviewers say 'she would have just left immediately', but there are people out there who will help a) a friend and b) relative strangers without much thought. This aspect did not bother me as much as some reviewers I've watched. There is a negative here regarding some character decision aspects, see negatives. - Battle system: Really not bad, I actually enjoyed fighting in this. So many reviews mention the bad hit boxes and jankyness, but I felt the ability to control what you were doing and avoid taking damage during battles is key. Note that this may have been fixed/updated via patches, but who cares. I just found it fun....no, it won't win any awards and could have been better, but that doesn't mean it's bad. This includes the weapons and powers, very nice array of tools to use...and powers. Bad: -Puzzles: Some puzzles were just not very fun. Moving crystals around to align a light beam, when I first realized what I had to do for that one my heart sank as it didn't sound fun, and it wasn't really that much fun. These not so fun sections aren't often, it's not a deal-breaker by any means. -Characters/story: Story for plot revolves largely around everyone else making very poor or questionable decisions, even when you tell them not to do it. I shook my head at the dumb decisions make by others more than once...just 'go with it' This is a very fun and highly recommended game. Can't wait for more from this developer. I waited on this one due to first round reviews, but I'm soo glad I gave it a chance. ... show more

Great Ps5 suprise. This game is underrated. Once you get used to the combat mechanics, this game gets really good. The story kept me hooked until the end which is rare for me.

  • Join the Chant and Immerse Yourself in a Hauntingly Beautiful World
Platform For Display: PlayStation 5 Edition: Standard Edition
As a fan of atmospheric games that are both beautiful and eerie, The Chant for PlayStation 5 is a must-play title. From the moment I started playing, I was transported to a world that was both stunning and unsettling, and I couldn't help but be drawn in by the game's hauntingly beautiful soundtrack and gorgeous visuals. The Chant is a narrative-driven adventure game that follows the story of a man named Leo, who finds himself stranded on an island after a plane crash. As he explores the island, he uncovers secrets and mysteries that are tied to an ancient cult, known as The Chant. The game's story is masterfully crafted, and the way it unfolds is both captivating and suspenseful. One of the things that I loved most about The Chant is the game's visuals. The island that Leo explores is stunning, with lush forests, crystal-clear water, and ancient ruins. But the beauty of the island is contrasted by the game's darker moments, where the eerie atmosphere and unsettling visuals create a sense of dread and unease. The Chant also features a fantastic soundtrack that perfectly complements the game's visuals and narrative. The haunting melodies and atmospheric sounds immerse you even deeper into the game's world, and the music is expertly used to create tension and suspense. Overall, I highly recommend The Chant for anyone who loves atmospheric adventure games. It's a game that immerses you in a hauntingly beautiful world, with a story that is both captivating and suspenseful. If you're looking for a game that will keep you on the edge of your seat and leave you thinking about it long after you've finished playing, The Chant is the game for you. ... show more

  • Better than expected
Platform For Display: PlayStation 5 Edition: Standard Edition
I really didn't expect something good about this game, I just bought it cause it was cheap. I was wroooooong. The game's nice and entertaining, and the best part is that it's fun, interesting and you don't need like 100 hours to finish it (I'm a dad and can play around 3 or 4 hours a week).

  • Pretty good game!!
Platform For Display: PlayStation 5 Edition: Standard Edition
I must admit, at first I didn’t think I was gonna like it but I ended up really enjoying it! If you’re sensitive to lights then don’t play it. There is a ton of different color flashing lights throughout the game.

  • This game is OK.
Platform For Display: PlayStation 5 Edition: Standard Edition
Honestly, I was pretty disappointed on this game. For what it costs I expected more. The gameplay is just that ok. If you are really bored and have the money, then buy this game. It is at the very least interesting for about 4 or 5 hours. I wish I put this money towards GOW Ragnarok instead.

  • More like 'The CANT'
Platform For Display: PlayStation 5 Edition: Standard Edition
Immediately, you're going to realize they didn't really do much with the premise and that is more than shame enough to pass up on it. But, it's plauged with odd and somehow forgettable control schemes, seriously outdated graphics (like, beyond previous gen), boring gameplay with repetitive missions. Basically, everything is a fetch quest. I haven't played a more disappointing game in a long time. Save your money. ... show more
