Works great for growing cat grass. Easy to use. Just place disk in a container and add water. Sprinkle grass seed on top and cover lightly. Keep soil moist. In about 2 days I get sprouts and by day 5 grass is ready for cats.

The Cat Ladies Organic Potting Soil was very simple to use. Just remove the wrapping and pop it in a pot and add water. After disk has absorbed the water, just break up the soil with a plastic fork; reserve a couple of tablespoons of soil; distribute seeds on surface; then cover with reserved soil.
