Beautiful story! Reminded me about one of my pets. The illustrations are sweet and expressive, the story has a lot of powerful lessons for adults and kids. Very well written and illustrated, a story I will read over and over again.

This is such a heartwarming story of a puppy's courage to chase after what he yearns for: love and a furever home. His perseverance proved that one can do anything if we put our heart to it. This is a great story about fate, persistence, and love all wrapped into one. Exciting plot, amazing illustrations and the ending we all hoped for! A homeless man leaves a cardboard box with an adorable puppy and leaves it outside a pet store. Not long after a little boy named Charlie spots him and immediately falls in love with the puppy. Charlies asks his mom for a puppy. She agrees to take him to the animal shelter. The puppy overhears their conversation. After great effort, the abandoned puppy frees himself from the box and decides he will get to that animal shelter. The puppy gets directions from a local dog and must overcome several obstacles but finally arrives only to find the boy and his mom driving away. Michael Wong did it again, another fantastic book! This story follows a lost abandoned puppy on a journey to find his new home and to find the boy who he locked eyes with on the street. Come along on his exciting and daring adventure where he has to brave a rushing river, a cat, a wild boar and more.
