Description

The Omni series was designed for tight detail to broad spraying using a “One Tip-One Needle” combination. The Omni series is a dual action internal mix airbrush. When trying for that one last detail, just the right blend or a great smooth finish Omni detail guns are ideal. Omni airbrushes work equally well at low or high pressures for varying applications. Besides performing well with finely ground colors, Omni airbrushes can handle heavier automotive paint with no need to change tips/needles. Designed with state-of-the-art engineering, Omni air-brushes are manufactured to the tightest possible tolerances. Omni airbrushes feature heavy nickel chrome plating, superior balance, solvent resistant o-rings and numerous other performance enhancements. Omni airbrushes are known worldwide as the performance and price preference to other similarly designed airbrushes. The reversible air cap guard is unique and exclusive to Omni airbrushes– reversing the air cap guard creates a smooth, aerodynamically rounded area at the tip/needle intersection enabling optimum airflow efficiency for the sharpest and finest lines. The “reverse-a-guard” air cap allows for easy removal of tip dry. It can also be utilized to protect the needle tip for novice air brushers or in more delicate airbrush applications. The Model T89 Set contains Omni4000 gravity feed airbrush with a 1/3 ounce mounted color cup, wrench, protective cap, and instruction manual. Proudly made in the USA.

  • No frills airbrush
I wanted an inexpensive good airbrush to be a clear coat or primer workhorse for modeling. I researched the different brands and have personal experience with many of them. After been let down with the IWATA Revolution (0.5 needle, my previous workhorse...) with a cursed sticky trigger (it simply does not have much spring to it, and does not stop the air once you let go the trigger), I did not want another IWATA. And feeling a little patriotic as of late, trying to buy american made goods, I decided to give this airbrush a try. It did not disappoint. It works great, right out of the box. If you want a pretty airbrush with the shinest metal finish, look elsewhere. This is well made, and well finished, but IWATAs, WAVEs, MR HOBBYs, TAMIYAs, GREX, SPARMAX, H&S, have better metal finishes on their airbrushes. But the exterior finish does not in any way compromise the performance of this "jack-of-all-trades" airbrush. I paid half of what the lowest end IWATA Revolution would cost and it does a better job than the Revolution ever did (AND it is made in USA!) I highly recomend this airbrush if you want something that will not get in your way and you have no need for super thin lines (although you can buy a smaller needle+tip for it if you need to spray details - it comes with a 0.35, and you can go smaller to a 0.2 or bigger to a 0.5) ... show more

  • It is a very good quality airbrush, and I can spray very fine lines with it.
I've had an Omni 3000 airbrush for almost 30 years that I have been extremely satisfied with. However, since I am using a lot a acrylic paints now, I wanted a gravity feed type airbrush, so I decided to buy the Omni 4000. The only problem that I have with it is that when you try to insert a pipe cleaner or paper towel taper into the body of the airbrush to clean it, you cannot see the entry hole that the needle slides through. This procedure takes some fiddling around to "find the hole" to clean any paint out of the body. It would have been better if the needle hole were visible as you look into the bowl. ... show more

  • Easy to use
This is my first airbrush, and I couldn't have picked a better one. All the negative reviews on the cheap ones scared me off, but I didn't see the sense on spending twice as much as this for an Iwata. As somebody who had absolutely no idea what they were doing I can say it took about 5 min to get comfortable with this, it's basically idiot-proof. Great control with the dual action, and sprays anything from a little bit wider than a hair to big bold lines. There's a learning curve to thinning the paint and getting dialed in with the trigger, but once you get it down this thing works like a dream. Spend the extra cash to get this proper airbrush instead of the cheapos. You won't be disappointed ... show more

  • What happened to quality ?
Seriously ?? What happened to the QA at Badger ??? They are the owners of the Thayer & Chandler brand. Are they about to go out of business and just dumping the F grade stock ? Check out the pictures, the aircap looks like it was 3d printed and I've tried to capture the drill burrs on the center hole of the cap. They didn't even remove them !! It is round at least. Looking at the needle, it is... well what can you say, rough, ragged and pitted. It's tragic to see Badger ( under the Thayer/Chandler brand ) put out products as poorly machined as this. Did someone look at this work and say "this is fine" ? I have virtually disposable Chinese airbrushes that have better machined parts than this (?) Sorry, you don't get to keep my money, it's being returned. ... show more

  • Básico pero no lo puedo usar todavía.
The media could not be loaded. ... show more

  • Simple, straight forward workhorse airbrush
This is my go to airbrush for most work ( I airbrush plastic ship and tank models). It is light and easy to clean out. It takes only the .5mm needle/nozzle, but it can do general coverage work yet also pretty fine lines with the .5 mm needle/nozzle if you get close and turn down the air pressure. That size needle/nozzle also makes it great for spraying thicker paints like primers. I like that it has the more modern self-centering type of nozzle so you don’t have to unscrew the nozzle from the airbrush body for thorough cleaning when necessary. IMO this airbrush is a quality tool and provides a lot of value for the money. Very glad I bought it. ... show more

  • Chicago Air Quality
I had an old Iwata Eclipse that disappeared during a move. I’m glad I went for this instead. It’s built like a tank, and I know it’ll last forever (I have a 1920’s vintage Model A by Thayer and Chandler: you can’t kill these things. I was amazed at the versatility, and I think this can spray even smaller lines than my Eclipse could. I’m just blown away. I could have gotten a more rexpensive brush, but bang for the buck, the Omni 4000 is unbeatable. ... show more
