  • Pretty Awesome!
Ive had an iwata airbrush that I received as a Christmas present due to expressing interest in wanting to learn airbrushing, but I’ve been lacking on buying a compressor for it. I also worried about breaking the iwata brush because of my inexperience, so I found this listing on Amazon and decided it would be worth trying, since it comes with a gravity feed, dual action brush that is similar to the iwata I already own and I wanted to practice on something I wouldn’t be as afraid to learn on and potentially damage in the process. So far I’ve just had trouble learning paint ratios and actually figuring out a technique, but I have to say I’m really glad I picked up this set. The kit comes with multiple nozzle sizes, multiple needles for the airbrush, and an air hose, among other practical items to get started. It’s been a blast not having to worry about anything and just diving into an extension of my hobbies. Mechanically I haven’t had any issue with either the compressor, the airbrush, or any of the components. It works totally fine, the compressor isn’t aggravatingly loud. My only issue with the compressor is the feet don’t do a great job at keeping the compressor steady, so please be cautious if you’re going to have your compressor on a table or high surface because I think it could quite literally hop off your work surface. Still, I think it’s a great kit to buy if you’re really new to airbrushing and want to dive in without spending an obscene amount of money. If anything happens to fail with anything, I’ll update my review accordingly. ... show more

  • Great starter air brush system
The price was right and it came with everything, ready to apply your paint. I believe even experienced modelers would like this system as you can upgrade the air brush with your own or find a better quality one. This brush works great for what I intend to use it for.

  • compressors great.
bought this as my first setup along with another cheap airbrush (neoeco I recommend it). The airbrush that comes with this was planned to use for primer, I couldnt get it working good enough. The compressor is great. quiet enough to use at night without waking anyone up. If you're looking at this as a complete kit for a beginner I would recommend getting a different airbrush. ... show more

  • Pretty good mid level air compressor, very consistent
I got this compressor as a replacement to my old underpowered mini 28psi diaphragm compressor. I was able to put quite a lot of paint down before the compressor got hot and I had to take a break from painting. Pros: - good quality airbrush and compressor for its price -compressor seems sturdy and reliable, says it’s supposed to last 500 hours before you have to do any basic maintenance -adjustable pressure output -very consistent paint spray quality Cons: -can get hot after continuous usage (2 hours tops before it gets too hot, I recommend taking breaks ever 30 minutes and letting it cool). -instruction manual not super detailed, but there are detailed YouTube videos for this compressor. ... show more

  • Great for Beginners! Does get HOT!
I’m new to airbrushing and decided this was a good value option to begin with. I am very happy with my purchase, but I want to caution others that my device does get pretty hot. It’s concerning, but I’m probably continuously using my device for 45min to an hour. I’m also in Texas, with summerish heat, so it’ll be good to see how it runs under cooler temps. Other Pros: Super easy to set up and use! DON’T FORGET TO SWITCH IT ON FIRST! hahah! Lots of customization and extra airbrush features! 100% improvement from the portable electric airbrushes, easily sprays out paint. ... show more

  • Quality ?
The first kit arrived and two of the containers holding the extra nozzles were open with no way to tell which was which. You'd think there would be some sort of marking on them. The answer from the company was compare them to the one in the airbrush which is a 0.3. Right, yeah you look and see if you can tell the difference in the 0.2 and the 0.3 nozzles. Returned and ordered another. The second kit worked fine until this morning. The compressor stayed at 20 psi until you pressed the air button on the brush and it would drop to 2-3 psi. Even wide open the compressor would only get to 20 psi. Could not set it more, could not set it less. Compressor had less than one hour of use. I used Amazon chat for support and they tried to contact the company's support system. None available so the Amazon agent authorized a return and replacement. Hopefully the third unit will not have problems when it gets here or after minimal use. I really like the kit when it works. The third unit came today and not feeling real happy with this company/product. First the end cap was not on the airbrush and it appeared the end of the needle was bent. I only needed the compressor so while this is another quality ding, it wasn't a major thing. The major thing was the compressor quit less than 10 minutes of use and was extremely hot. After about 10 minutes it would run enough to get the brush cleaned, then within a few minutes quit again. Returned and refunded. I'm going to look elsewhere and stay away from Timbertech products. ... show more
