I was so excited to find this. When it arrived, it had to be assembled, which I did myself. It was actually super easy and didn’t take long for me to put it together. Word of caution, this is thin sheet metal. Be careful and take your time. I like they provided the tools needed to put this together. The instructions are ok, they are not super detailed but they are good enough for most people to assemble the item. And I like there is extra hardware for when you drop one and can't seem to find it. ... show more

While the design *idea* is fabulous, the execution is garbage! My hens broke one of the nest trays out of it, on only the second day in use. A month later, I arrived to the coop to find another nest box completely broken out of the unit and laying on the floor. I do NOT recommend this product.

So first thing, box arrived dented so of course a few dented panels. Not a big issue. The screws!!!!!! I suggest you test run a back to a screw to make sure it's going to tighten. Many came messed up which made it difficult to assemble. Also sharp edges, I got a few sliced fingers now. But overall it's cute if that's what your going for. Functional, we shall see still. To costly, could've prob just made it better with some 2x4s and ply wood. ... show more
